Broadbeach delight

We had a fantastic 5 day stay at this modern well appointed apartment. Great location, close to beaches, shops and eateries. The apartment was Modern, comfortable and had fantastic views of the beach! Would stay here again.

A very unhappy stay

There was nothing "elegant" about the accommodation. View was far from "stunning" bearing in mind what is visible in the foreground. Fittings were only average, and kitchen poorly equipped. My assessment is that the apartment is a family beach apartment, for a small family. Bed linen appeared not to have been changed and it took a long time to get replacements. There was evidence that the floors were not cleaned properly. Main TV could not receive free to air channels, and problem was never attended to. One bathroom wash basin did not drain properly and had to be fixed by a plumber. Switch for light in one bedroom missing and apart from inconvenience, possibly was an electrocution hazard. Plugs for kitchen sink did not hold water and were never replaced. I spent many hours in communication with letting agent trying to resolve the problems, and I have requested a partial refund of the rental fee. Awaiting a response.
