Welcome! Bring the family and spread out in this large, relaxing 4BR, 2BA, 2800 square foot Santa Barbara house with pool, hot tub, gas BBQ grill. Sleeps 11 in beds, plus air mattress. 1 King + 2 Twins + fold down futon in Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, 3 Queen bedrooms, share hall bathroom with tub/shower. Fully stocked: bed linens, blankets, towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryers, toilet paper, laundry soap, cleaners. Huge 20' x 20' living room with 50" HDTV, Family room with 42" HDTV, Master BR also has 42" HDTV, all stream Amazon Prime and other apps, WIFI. 2 Dining tables. Fully equipped kitchen with dishes, silverware, glasses, coffee maker, waffle iron, food processor, mixer, toaster, blender, etc. Washer and dryer. Beach towels, chairs, boogie and surfboards, bikes, high chair, stroller, Pack n Play folding playpen in garage. 5 minutes to beach, bowling, ice rink, SBA, UCSB, Amtrak, Ritz-Carlton Resort wedding venue, golf at Sandpiper GC and Glen Annie GC. 10 minutes to beautiful downtown Santa Barbara shopping, restaurants, wharf, harbor - known as "The American Riviera". Wine region with tours and tastings and Chumash Casino 25 minutes away. Garage, driveway and street parking. A very comfortable home in a wonderfully safe, quiet neighborhood. 3 parking spots in driveway. A great vacation home and SB touring base! Perfect for large groups - cheaper than 2 hotel rooms. NOTE: This is a quiet family neighborhood. Neighbors are noise sensitive. The home is only for the people approved to stay there. Do not invite others over. No parties or gatherings. Please keep noise down outside by the pool, no loud music or yelling. Please do not argue with the neighbor if comments about noise. No one in pool or back yard after 9 pm.
Please note that the pool is heated by solar panels on the roof and is typically warm from April-Sept. It becomes less so during fall/winter. House is cooled by 2 portable A/C units and fans. There is central heat. As a budget-minded Airbnb, the furnishings are functional, not fancy. By booking, you assume all responsibility for injury suffered on the property and waive your right to litigation or damages.
Check out is 11am, check in is 3pm. Earlier or later may be possible depending on bookings.

WIFI is Kirk, password: Gunner2121. Park in driveway or on street. Rooms have clean linens and towels. Additional linens in the hall closet. Inflatable mattress, surfboards, bikes, stroller in garage. Santa Barbara has a cool oceanside climate so there is no central A/C. Use the portable AC unit and fans provided. Thermostat controls heat only, no central A/C. Beach chairs, boogie board and bikes in the garage.

Soap, shampoo, toilet paper, hair dryer, seasonings, coffee, coffee maker, etc. provided. Dishes & glasses in kitchen hutch, utensils in drawers. Pots and pans under stove and oven. Trash can is under kitchen counter to right of sink. Recycling can is directly under sink. Outside barrels in driveway. Trash collection is Wed, please put barrels in street Tues. night. Breaker/fuse box in kitchen, in small cabinet to the right of sink. Dishwasher soap under kitchen sink. Please clean BBQ grill with wire brush after use. TVs stream Netflix and Amazon Prime. There is no cable. Washer/dryer and detergent behind vented doors in dining area off kitchen.

Pool is solar heated by roof panels and is warm from end of April to Oct. Automatic vacuum cleans bottom. Please do not take it out of water, it is bad for the pump if water is not circulating. If you want it out of way, move it to the deep end. Light switches for pool in the pump house. Use plastic cups on pool deck. Pool service comes Thursday. Skim water surfaces with pole skimmer net if needed. Shower before using hot tub, especially after beach - no oils, sunscreen, perfumes, saltwater, etc. Close lid after use and do not sit on it. Do not play with the mode buttons that have tape covering them. Lower the patio umbrellas at night due to sundowner winds.

Groceries, restaurants, Zodo’s bowling, movie theater, etc. 1 mile down Fairview on Calle Real. Sprouts, Albertsons, Trader Joes, Rusty’s Pizza, Panda, Chicken Ranch, El Pollo Loco, Carl’s and more. Goleta Beach and park about 3 miles down Fairview, past 101 and SBA airport, on the way to UCSB. There are kayak and SUP rentals, and a playground. Ice rink at Costco center north 5 min on 101 at Glen Annie. Santa Barbara downtown is 10 min south on 101S. Wine country and Solvang Danish Village 30 min via 154N.

Checkout time is 11am. If possible, put towels in the washer and turn on when you leave. Please leave things as you found them. Take all food with you, throw out trash. Put used dishes in dishwasher and run it.

Living room TV uses a Roku plug in stick. Turn TV on with the Vizio remote and then use Roku remote to navigate channels. If the Roku opening page animation isn't on the screen when you turn it on you will have to use the Vizio remote to change TV inputs until it comes on screen, then you can use Roku remote. Also be sure the power cord to the Roku stick is plugged into wall plug.
