"The property was beautiful and it was very relaxing overall. The only problem we had was bugs. They were swarming at the front door, dead at the front door and once inside they were on the ceiling. Consequently, my wife and I spent the first couple of hours cleaning up bugs. I found out that they were coming in from the window unit. I reported it to the owner and i was able to close up the area where they were coming in which made the rest of the stay worthwhile. Like I stated earlier the place...

"This is a wonderful home with a sunrise view while drinking coffee. Great 3 bedroom with extra beds. We had fun on the lily pad. Our granddaughter caught her first catfish from the boat dock. The three deer walking across the road at dawn and dusk seemed like a dream. We will definitely be back. ❤️"

"My hubby and I needed a weekend away together wo kids and craziness of life, just to recharge and spend time together. This place was perfect. It was secluded which was nice but only 20-40 min away to big towns to shop and food etc. We enjoyed an evening in pool and enjoyed dinner pool side after a day of antique shopping. There was a little beach right off the back of the house where we could put our chairs and stick our feet in the water and listen to the “waves” that lapped so peacefully against the walls. Not sure if that’s always there or we just lucked out with the right water level. It was so perfect we couldn’t help but want to share it with our kids so they came for the final day. The neighbors were super friendly to us and our kids....

"The main reason we rented this property was due to access to the boat lift for our boat. We prefer not taking the boat out of the water every day and the dock was perfect for this! You are also a short boat ride to the island and the state park (Livingston side). The kids loved the rope swing on the dock and the tree swing. Also the ping pong table was a hit. The house was clean and well furnished we didn’t have to leave for supplies all weekend. Overall our two families stayed comfortably...
