Perfect for a short beach holiday

Affordable place in Goolwa, close to beach. It is retro as advertised (we enjoyed the dvd selection), but perfectly comfortable - the bed was great. We had a few issues with check in information not arriving and correct beds not made up but easily sorted.

Little getaway Shack

The shack is very cute its small but adorable. The loungeroom bedroom was great during the hot temps during our stay. Bring own coffee for coffee machine. Gorgeous little garden. We enjoyed that access to shops, river and beach were so close. Also I've left a dozen eggs from my chickens back home on Bum-nugget Farm for the hosts to enjoy.

Fair View

Great start to our Fleurieu Peninsular stay. Fairview Shack is rightly named, enjoying an elevated position of the area. Clean and bright. Well equipped . Handy location to explore the south coast. Recommend taking the cockle train from Goolwa to Victor Harbour

Another wonderful stay!

This was our 3rd time at Farview and it was wonderful once again! The property is full of charm and has all the necessities. The location is unbeatable - a short walk to the beach and equally a short walk/ride to the Encounter Bikeway. The street is quiet and peaceful. The shack is located opposite a large reserve so there is plenty of bird-life. The property has a functional kitchen with stove and oven, fridge with a freezer, lovely hard-wood floor in the main area. There is a TV with a DVD player and reverse cycle air-conditioning unit. The bed is large and very comfortable. The shack gets a lot of natural light in the morning so I personally use an eye mask to help me stay asleep. I only wish we had booked for a longer stay! We are planning to be back again :)

Comfortable and quirky

Comfortable shack with its quirky retro styling. We enjoyed listening to the sound of the surf, walk to the beach and views across Gawla and the Hindmarsh island bridge.

Cute little beach shack

The property delivered what it promised. We loved the location with an easy walk to the beach and it made an excellent base to explore the Fleurieu Peninsula, the Coorong and beyond to the city and hills.

Cute little shack with everything we needed for a weeks stay. Communication with Rebecca was great. Highly recommended, we visit Goolwa often and will definitely look to stay here again

Best Shack in Goolwa

Had a wonderful stay at this Shack. It suited our needs really well. It is a cosy place and has ample space for 4 people who are 6foot 1- 6foot7. I would highly recommend this place to those who want an authentic shack’ experience. It is very comfortable for any situation, if you’re having a busy day then want to have a relaxed meal outside on the Jarrah dining table then this is the place for you. The only thing I would recommend for the owners is to have a BBQ outside on the deck. We are already looking at going again for another summer Goolwa extravaganza. ✌️

Quick getaway

Was a fabulous retro beach shack, much better than a cabin or hotel room. Great location and we could park our JetSki. Loved the retro vibe and next time we will bring the kids to use the extra bedroom, thank you for having us!
