「The house felt (and even smelled) new and the whole place was modern, spacious, and a very hospitable atmosphere! We stayed there with our young kids and parents, and everyone enjoyed the stay and slept comfortably. If you're staying in the tatami rooms and are used to soft beds, then you'll likely find the bedding to be very firm. You can double up the mattresses and futon. Theres only one bath room, which is typical for homes in Japan and it was very nice and clean. And the sauna felt so good...

「Great location, beautiful home. Communication was excellent, the beds were comfortable. Great view of Fuji. My only concern would be the mold in the downstairs bathroom. Looks like an outside leak inside the walls coming through. I did notice a mold/musty smell from it and had a couple headaches while staying there. Either from the mold or the storm that came through.」
