Room could use a little TLC with things like a broken soap dish in the shower, but we are an active outdoor couple and don't need grand comfort. You are in the tropical jungle so expect bugs. The voice of the jungle speaks at night. As we are active travelers we spent much time exploring the island and scuba diving , then would come back to our room to cool off in the pool and relax with the million dollar view! The staff were friendly but the drink I ordered with dinner was never delivered and the hamburger was gristly and tough. The breakfast which was included was tasty. “On arrival to the guest house there was a nice 'welcome' laid out on the bed with flowers and decorative towels. On arrival the shower was dirty with hairs from the previous guest left on the tiles, floor tiles stained as the shower has a drainage issue, and the shower pressure is extremely low when set to warm, I would describe it as a drizzle of water. The toilet was also poorly cleaned on arrival, and stained. The two decorative bath towels on display for arrival were unfortunately the……

“Interesting experience When I first got to the hotel, it took my driver a good 10 minutes driving around to find the reception. There are no signs. Then, I walked up the stairs to the reception and asked for someone to help with my 3 heavy bags, the woman at the desk just looked at me. Meanwhile, my driver thankfully, carried all 3 bags up the stairs in the time she’d managed to call a colleague.
