Nice stay with excellent breakfast
Nice room and lovely hostess. Excellent breakfast. Can be a bit noisy. Rooms close to each other.

We stayed at the Blue Lotus Guest House for a few nights in late August. The property was generally well maintained and the rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. The hostess was very helpful in providing tips for restaurants, sightseeing and shopping. A lovely breakfast was provided. Although the shower was good, the bathroom itself was small. Sadly, the shower plumbing causes the bathroom floor to flood (looks dry, but the water seeps upward) and this requires significant work to rectify - the owners are aware of this and are slowly upgrading all rooms.

Good location but
We stayed at the flat which is on the second floor. It was crampy, old and in need of immediate renovation. They were doing some renovation outside plus a construction site just across the street, so a lot of noise. It was a windy day, and windows throughout the apartment do not close properly so we had gusts of winds and the noise coming in. Bathtub has separate taps for hot and cold water, no shower head, so we tried the shower, and just a short one flooded the whole room, not sure what exactly is the problem, to add to that the towels are so worn out they just turn into a damp cloth a soon as water touch them. Glad it was just one night.

Great location, great owner
The guesthouse was very nice and in a great location for activities and the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only qualm I had was the smell in the bathroom which was as if there was sitting water when there was not. I would stay here again.

Home sweeter than home
I had an amazing stay at the Blue Lotus. I cannot hesitate to mention Ann, she is a an awesome lady, very helpful. I can never forget when I was delayed in a wedding and she was very supportive with my kids who were at the B n B. Thanks and keep it up Ann, I will surely come back.

very nicely situated
Found the owners to be very friendly and helpful, secure parking for the car close to all the amenities wonderful breakfast cooked while enjoying your cereals and fruit etc, freshly made coffee, and very friendly service, would recommend to anyone, in the evening and during the day you have the use of the pool and tables and chairs for if you wish to relax with drinks and snacks under the patio or next to the pool.

Gastgeber sehr nett. Zimmer sauber. Kleiner sauberer Pool. Sehr zentral gelegen. Leider laute Baustelle gegenüber. Bei Frühstücks Zeiten leider unflexibel. 08:30-09:30 Uhr. Durch Gäste und Zimmerpetsonal im Innenhof war es leider bereits ab 07:00 laut im Zimmer.......

Boa Guest House em Porto Elizabeth
A Blue Lotus Guest House atendeu a todas nossas expectativas. Café da manhã saboroso e farto e os anfitriões muito prestativos e amigáveis! A Localização é ótima, próximo à um pequeno shopping local e ao Boardwalk.
