「Great property, excellent introduction to Germany. It's close to town, but far enough to appreciate country living. Hosts were very welcoming and gave us a ton of information. Genauso wie die Küche: sehr einfach eingerichtet. Aber: der direkte Wasserzugang mit dem Tretboot und den Schlauchbooten war schon sehr genial; genauso wie der große Garten. 「It's a lovely clean and bright studio in the heart of Bayreuth, a 15 minute walk from the train station and less than a minute from the colourful and lively Maximilianstraße. If you're prepared to self-cater (and the local supermarkets are excellent), then it's a bargain. What stops it from my giving 5 stars? Not much. The apartment can get very hot, although a fan is provided. A separate receptacle for recycling would be welcome, as would a dustpan and brush for daily cleaning and instructions...
