“I LOVED this cabin! It was exactly the cabin feel I was going for on my solo mom-vacation. Instructions were simple and I had everything I needed. Perfect location, far off in the woods. The host wasn’t joking when she said you need 4WD - the dirt/gravel road is about 2 miles, with lots of steep inclines. My 4WD handled it fine, just be aware. I will absolutely be back!! Our first couple of days were rainy, but we made use of many of the amenities. We enjoyed playing pool, use the billiards table to play poker, and watch movies in the movie theater. “This was our family’s third stay and they just keep getting better. Beautiful views, cool mornings, grandkids in the hot tub, bocci ball games on the side lawn, tomahawk steak cookouts on the grill, go fish on the breakfast table, bunny and dear sightings at dinner time and hide and seek all over the place. ”

“It was a beautiful, peaceful cabin, surrounded by nature. Two fawns came across the property every morning just before sunrise and hung around for almost an hour. Communication with the host was easy with prompt responses. Hot showers after long hikes, a kitchen stocked with all the cooking utensils and gadgets you could possibly need, and easy instructions to enjoy the amenities.I do recommend taking walking sticks if you walk the Lake Adger Trail. From the house, there are major hills covered……
