The room was very old and outdated but it was clean. Staff were very friendly and accessible. Food was great at both the pub and diningroom; however, no dining options at the hotel on Sunday which was unusual. Rates were reasonable. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

We have actually painted our rooms from ceiling to floor in the last several weeks as well as installed all new curtains, bedding etc. In the future, if you are ever unsatisfied for any reason, we would appreciate you letting us know while you are here. That way, we can try and correct it for you and make the remainder of your stay an enjoyable one. The overall stay was ok, however, Sunday the Dining Room is closed, no other options available. The room itself was not as advertised. Furniture needs upgrade, tv services were poor.

Hi Goldie,Thank you for your review! Our apologies for any inconvenience of our dining room being closed on Sunday. We actually only operate from Mon-Sat in low season due to low demand. Regarding your room, I'm not quite sure what you mean that the room was not as advertised. Everything listed and photographed on the site is exactly what is in our room. We have actually recently painted all of our rooms and installed new tv's. We do, however, realize that our furniture is not new and we hope to upgrade this is in the near future. It is, however, exactly as the website states. Again, we do appreciate your review and hope to see you again in the future!Sincerely,

The checkin was not welcoming at all, they key fob to door would not let us in and they had to call maintenance so we were left sitting on the floor outside the room. Beds uncomfortable and NO microwave in the hotel anywhere to be found to use. I feel like that is the least they could have had there - pretty archaic! The price they charge does not match what you get for the service that is for sure

We end up leaving the property and did not stay the night not long after we checked in due to the fact the place was extremely dirty and my girls went to get into the bed and when pulled back the covers there were all kinds of black long hairs in the bed! When we pulled back our sheets in our bed it was the exact same thing! My girl was just after playing hockey and when she went to get in the shower the facets were not working ! We could not close the doors without pushing hard , the smell of dirty furniture ! So we refused to sleep there so we packed up at 9:00pm and drove home ! Very disappointed to pay 143.00 for a place that was filled up and they can’t even have clean beds! It looked like they threw the top sheets and cover back over from the previous customer! Hi Heidi, I am deeply disappointed that I have to write this message to you today. Your comments regarding your hotel experience are very important to us. We want our guests to enjoy staying with us. With all of these concerns, I am surprised that you did not call our reservation agent to request a room change or to discuss all of the issues. We did have a room available at the time that we could have moved you to. Without informing us while you are here, it robs us of the opportunity to correct it and make your stay an enjoyable one. We have no way of knowing that there was an issue or that you had left your room early.In the meantime, I have assigned my Executive housekeeper and maintenance manager to inspect this room and to follow up on all of the items you had mentioned. They are not acceptable and you should have never had to experience that. We take cleanliness very seriously.Again, please accept my apologies and know that in the future (at any hotel), you should always make your concerns known (if there are any) so that the Hotel can act upon it immediately.
