Barn house stay near Palisade, hot tub and views!

Come enjoy country views just 4.1 miles from downtown Palisade. This adorable mother in law "barn" is located right behind our main living house. We are conveniently located right next to the Palisade fruit and wine byway. You'll enjoy gorgeous views of Mt. Garfield looming to the north and the Grand Mesa to the east. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub after a long day of adventure. This is country living at its best!

Our "barn" has 1 real bedroom with a king bed. The second bedroom is located upstairs in a loft. Please note that it is very open and there is no door, so if privacy is important to you, the second bedroom is not private. The pull out couch is located in the main open living area. We have a full kitchen stocked with spices, coffee, creamer, sugar, and lots of cooking utensils. If you are booking this space for 6 people, please remember that there is only 1 bathroom and it is small but efficient.
We live across from the barn and we have 2 small children and a busy life so you will likely see us out and about. We have a black cat named River and some chickens who like to come visit.
The outdoor space: We love our yard and we hope you do too! We have a graveled patio with a gas fireplace for you to enjoy. The hot tub is situated between your barn and our house and we don't use it if you're in it. It's open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We like to make this as comfortable for you as we can, but we also live here and sometimes need a soak too! :)
We have an outdoor patio with seating for 6 and a gas BBQ.

Colorado National Monument is somwhere I can't recommend highly enough, but allow enough time for all the overlooks, it is larger than it looks. This was a great place to stay for my two daughters, wife, and myself while we skied two days at Powderhorn resort. It has a nice layout for the space. We enjoyed being able to use the hot tub after a day on the slopes. The Weber grill worked to perfection. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, ice maker, dishwasher, and the extra towels provided. Host did a great job of communicating. The beds were a little softer than I prefer, but nothing I lost any sleep over. Overall the lighting options were good; appreciated the extra lamps, except for the one with the cool LED lights. It would be nice to be able to dim the main overhead lights. Also, to add a couple of under cabinet lights would be awesome in that kitchen, I hope to come back to the area another time when there is more snow and would definitely stay here again.

Wow! What a cozy, lovely place to stay. This is the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. I even put my clothes in the dresser drawer, lol.The barn has lots of heating and cooling options throughout so we were always the perfect temperature during our stay. We took advantage of the hot tub, electric indoor fireplace, a/c unit, and full kitchen with icemaker during our stay. Everything was in beautiful condition and worked great. We even had 3 of us working remotely one day on the WiFi with no issues.We loved our stay.

The Barn house was absolutely perfect for our time in Palisade. It was so cute, beautifully decorated, and very clean! Leah has many special touches and has thought of everything to make the stay very comfortable. As great as the house was, our favorite part was the farm life setting. We watched beautiful horses grazing just outside the windows with colorful sunsets in the background. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for a great stay.

Amazing guest house and property!

Perfect little stop

This place was wonderful. They had anything you might need and it was very clean! We only stayed one night, the hot tub was perfect after a long day of driving. The beds were very comfortable. In the morning my kids fed the chickens while we packed up to leave. The view of the mountains is breathtaking. I would stay here again.

Perfect Stay

I had a great one-night stay at this barn-home! It was spotlessly clean, well-equipped with everything you need to cook or kick back, and the setup was impressive. There's an outdoor fire pit and hot tub I didn't get to use, but they looked perfect for relaxing. The barn sits on over five acres with an amazing view of the mountains. The family managing the place was friendly and a pleasure to connect with. Only wish I'd stayed longer to enjoy it all!
