Room was clean, although there was dirt in the drawers and the weather striping on the door was broken so there was a 1"x 2" hole next to the door jam. Not a huge issue for me as there were no bushes outside close enough to attract snakes.
Dogs are allowed. This was a huge plus since I travel with my dogs often. The dog yard is not fenced, and has turf. It is located in the breeze way between the rooms and the lobby. Small area, so only one customers dogs at a time especially if your dogs are 40+ pounds. The dog yard is also used by customers as a smoking area (unofficially) so watch out for butts if your dog tends to eat things. Overall it was a decent yard.
The Mexican restaurant located in the lobby was alright. Not as good as 3 Margaritas and on the expensive side, over $60 for 3 adults. The food can make you feel icky. Do not recommend eating there.
Small things that come with a budget inn type of stay: no kleenex available (even at front desk). Have to ask for an iron and return after use not after stay. Only give 2 towel sets even if 3 people are staying in room, have to turn in dirty towels to get clean ones. One key card per room, and it will stop working after 24hrs, even if the room was booked for longer (this happened twice during my 4 night stay). Water pressure is crazy high! Feels like your taking a shower with a pressure washer. Slightly better if you and your neighbor happen to shower at the same time.
Otherwise, nice enough. Would stay again.
Great, convenient hotel just off the highway. The in-room microwave was very handy, our room was clean and plenty of room to take my dog go outside and do his business. Free coffee in the lobby was great, I would stay here again.
The room itself was good. The a/c unit was about as noisy as it could get, and sounded like a 50 mph wind, and about every 10 minutes it started banging and sounded like a drummer doing a riff for 45 seconds. Had to shut it off at night so I could sleep. The fridge had a low bang to it all the time and I had to shut it off at night also. The door key batteries quit and the front desk dude fixed that in short order, so thanks to him for that.

We were not happy as they changed our reservation without telling us. The room wasn’t cleaned for us and were told in the contract you have to request cleaning. When we signed in we were told to initial and sign. Guess you now have to read the whole contract or it would have been a common courtesy to ask us if we wanted our room cleaned.
The place is just an old trucker hotel that's been very well used.
The room looked like it was furnished in the 70s.. bare bones, function, And a little sketchy feeling... An average motel 6 offers a more modern comfortable room honestly...
If you're looking for a hotel that combines outdated rooms, incompetent staff, and absolutely zero regard for its guests, congratulations—you've found it.
I stayed here for five days while working in Grand Junction, and I honestly can't think of a single thing I'd recommend about this place. The rooms were tired, worn out, and featured an air conditioner that looked like it survived the Nixon administration. Comfort was clearly not a priority.
The staff somehow managed to be the worst part of the experience. Customer service appeared to be a completely foreign concept. Upon check-in, I specifically requested a late checkout and explained my work schedule. I was led to believe it would be accommodated. Apparently that conversation meant absolutely nothing.
On checkout day, while I was at work, they forced my son out of the room and made him sit outside for nearly three hours until I could return. No concern, no flexibility, no effort to help—just "not our problem." Any hotel that thinks that's an acceptable way to treat guests shouldn't be in the hospitality business.
I've stayed in roadside motels that offered better service, cleaner rooms, and more professionalism. The only thing this hotel consistently delivered was disappointment.
Do yourself a favor: spend your money somewhere else. Literally anywhere else.
Staff was great. Had our room moved twice due to wiring issues and no tv remote to turn on tv. Exterior of the motel was populated by one person sitting in their car as they had a variety of visitors. Lock and chain was broken on our front door but by that point we had no interest in moving rooms again.
Great stay, however the ice rooms are creepy and dark at night, pillows were flat, no coffee creamer in the room and it's listed on Expedia that they offer breakfast. Otherwise will stay again for sure
