Relaxing getaway

We had a spectacular time at the Lighthouse! The home was clean, warm and inviting. And it was so nice waking up with a view of the water. Just what we needed for a quick trip to Grand Marais. The hosts were very responsive and provided us with a lot of recommendations. We will be staying again!

Charming cozy getaway

Loved our stay at the lighthouse. Nice views of the sunrise and lots of sunny natural light. This was so much better than staying in a hotel. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Location is walkable to everything! Lighthouse is tucked upstairs and feels cozy. Pairing the sauna elevated the experience.

Beautiful getaway

The property was just as described. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We walked everywhere; the location was perfect. We did not need to contact the host for anything, check in and out was very easy. We loved the videos with the hiking suggestions too!

annual get away to GM

Very cute and clean studio in a little compound close to town. This is our second time at the Lighthouse and enjoyed the views, close location to downtown, and the outstanding communication by owners. We have been taking an annual trip to GM for the last 15 years and have stayed at numerous places around town but like this little compound so much, have rebooked in one of the other cabins for next year! Thanks so much for a very enjoyable stay.

Weekend Getaway

Perfect location. There is a nice carport that we didn't see at night/were not sure we could use it. But no worries, a lot of street parking too. Walking distance to all the town activities and restaurants. We did book the sauna separately. Such a relaxing weekend. Highly recommend adding on the sauna. Thank you

Great location, beautiful space

This property was ideally located within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the shores of Lake Superior. Beautifully built and decorated, it was the perfect cozy space for my husband and I to stay for the long weekend. The pictures of the property are definitely accurate, but in some ways they don't do the place justice--it is clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and filled with thoughtful design details, etc. Great access to the Gunflint trail and tons of hiking, beautiful views, etc. We will be back :)

An amazing view - an amazing stay.

This great lodging option really needs to be experienced to be believed. The structure itself is unlike anything else you'll find in GM...or anywhere, really. The "above the tree-tops" view of the harbor and much of the town is only part of it. The balcony is fantastic for dining, reading and lounging in the sun. The space is a revelation of comfort and efficiency, perfect for a couple. Privacy within walking distance to everything; restaurants, pubs, shopping, galleries and more. My first stay in the Robin's Nest, but surely not my last. After all, I found the best spot in town.

Beautiful and relaxing

We absolutely loved our cozy space as well as the overall multi-property layout. Had friends staying at Skyhouse and that was lovely too. Our bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, everything was clean, and we can't wait to visit again so we can enough the view of the stars in warmer weather.

Grand Marais lighthouse

We were able to put our name on the waitlist and walk to Angry Trout as soon as our table was ready. It was nice to be so close to everything and we did a lot of walking. The sauna was a highlight! Best views in Grsnd Marais

Cozy and convenient

We stayed here while doing some hiking and climbing in the area. The Lighthouse was fun to stay in and a cozy place to relax at the end of the day. Also enjoyed that it was really easy to walk to nearby restaurants.

The Lighthouse

Our stay at the Lighthouse was a wonderful unique experience. It had everything we needed including a full sized coffee pot! It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Located close enough to walk to most places, but still peaceful. The hosts were also great. Hope to return soon!

The Lighthouse exceeded our expectations. The view of the lake and location were phenomenal. The layout was cozy and had everything we needed. My husband arrived after 5 days in the boundary waters and really appreciated the sauna. We’ll definitely be back.
