It’s a very nice property. Unfortunately other people had destroyed some of the property that we were looking forward to using (paddle boat). We enjoyed our stay there. Excellent host.

Great place for family.

The pond was clean and swimmable. Has pan fish and bass in it. The views from the property were unreal. You are basically on your own little private resort. We will be booking again.

Great place!

We had our wedding reception held at this property. Everything was amazing! Chris was a great host and always was in communication when I needed. Great location with a beautiful pond. We used the paddle boat and row boat and had a fire on the fire pit. Would definitely come back when we have the chance!

Awesome Time!

We had a family reunion and really enjoyed this place! The entire family enjoyed the deck, fire pit and large clean pond! great place to get away, enjoy the surroundings, awesome sunsets from deck, fishing and swimming in pond! would definitely do this again! Chris was very communicative, helpful, and responded to every question and need quickly! Large kitchen with all the essentials! would highly recommend this for any family retreat!

The “Pond House” Vacation

Myself, my 3 Sons and their Wives, plus my 8 Grandkids stayed in this great place that we lovingly called the Pond House. And I brought my Sweet Dog too. I’m not sure which one of us had more fun, and who is more exhausted from all the activities there. It was such fun, even my dog had the best time of her life. Lots of fish were caught, the fishing boat and paddle boat were enjoyed. I could sit on the rocking chair and watch everyone and hear the beautiful sound from the fountain. And the campfire with tons of stargazing too. No one wanted to leave. Thanks for the fun, we would do this again!!

Beautiful property but not up to VRBO standards

Postitives: kitchen utensils, glasses, plates were very clean, nice secluded property with beautiful pond, comfortable beds, excellent communication with owner. Negatives: house was not clean - not filthy - but just dirty (backsplashes in kitchen and bathroom were dirty, cupboards in kitchen needed to be wiped down and cleaned, dusty bathroom shelves / fixtures, most fabric furniture had stains of unknown origin, one bedspread covered with animal hair, floors in kitchen needed to be mopped, walls in kitchen/living room area had stains/spots, porch desperately needed to be vaccumed and air freshened - wet dog smell), outside was a mess (beach chairs in pond/flipped over/on lawn, pieces to beach Connect Four game were all over in the pond, SO MANY broken solar lights EVERYWHERE, paddle boat was 1/2 sunk in the pond, canvas tents in rear of property were down with bedding, rugs, pillows just out in the yard - looked like it had been that way all winter/spring - moldy and wet, broken plastic lawn chairs in several parts of the yard, garbage in yard (toenail clipper, travel deodorant, dice, cigarette butts), broken chair on deck. I know that had I contacted the owner about the cleaning needs, they probably would have come, but I was there with my friends and didn't want someone coming to clean when that should have been done before. We did contact the owner about the outside situation because it was so bad we didn't want them to think we had done it.
