“Being on a motorcycle, I was desperate for lodging due to rain and the location (middle of nowhere), so I was grateful to have shelter for the night. No staff were available onsite anytime during my one-night stay. The property was just weird, lots of amateur construction and neglect. No food was readily available in the area. The strangest thing to me, never having encountered it before, were instructions to strip the bed of the linens! What next: would I need to launder them and remake the……

“This was a wonderful stay. Comfy beds, very clean, and I loved the way it was decorated. Amazing peace and quiet, also very private. We were able to spend some time star gazing at night, and watched deer walk through the yard in the morning. Highly recommend.”

“Our Host was prompt with responses to questions. This was most meaningful. The main cabin was charming and lake view was awesome. As a rustic older cabin, it has been lovingly kept up. We were not able to use the quaint boathouse because temps had dropped and it is not heated. The rainy weather kept us inside. However, the spacious living area gave us ample room to hang out and we were close to Grand Rapids and Cohasset to enjoy other entertainment avenues. No regrets. Hope to book again.”
