“Wow just wow!! The pictures don't do this place justice. Its absolutely gorgeous! The little things put in place that you see when you walk in ( we will not ruin the surprises). The hosts where nothings but amazing and welcoming! Tue view of the lake was just beautiful!!! We will definitely be back again!!!”

“This place is absolutely amazing! The pictures are accurate but really don’t do it justice. We brought 3 teams to the KHSAA state fishing tournament, which is 11 in total and we all slept comfortably and had room to move around. Having the garage door as a major help as the boys could spend their evenings preparing their gear for the next day. There is a covered patio where we grilled at the same time as doing the gear. It was just perfect for us. It’s walking distance to the Lake Barkley……

“The house was clean and just as advertised. The wifi is competent but should not be needed. Take a couple of friends instead and reconnect. This is a place to throw a line in the water, sit outside, read a book, play some games, view the stars in the sky at night, breath, and overall relax. If you need a little help relaxing, there is a hot tub with a view of the night sky. This is a place that you throw something on the grill or in the oven, no gourmet cooking, just basics.”

“Overall we had a positive experience staying in the Once Upon a Time Cottage. The house is much nicer inside the you would expect from the neighborhood. It is very cozy and comfortable. The yard is fenced in and well kept. The only issue we had was with the codes for unlocking the doors. The back door would not open with any of the door codes sent, and the front door opened with a code that had the wrong checkout time. We would definitely rent again.”

“Property not as advertised. Live and dead bugs inside house. House had an oder. Question if dead mouse inside mouse trap. Swarm of bugs outside entrance door and all over patio, not able to enjoy this area at all. Based on our experience-Do not rent this property!!”
