Mooie, ruime en goed uitgeruste vakantiewoning, prettig zijn de 2 badkamers en wc's. Grote ruime tuin. Opmerkingen, de 2 persoons bank is wat beperkt voor een woning voor 6 personen. Wat comfortabeler buitenmeubilair was ook welkom geweest. Maar dit zijn geen redenen om de vakantiewoning van Damien niet te boeken. TOP!!

Les vieux bidasses en Normandie

Visites de de tous les lieux commémoratifs du débarquement en Normandie entre copains d’armée .amitiés qui durent depuis plus de 40 ans. Pour nous il était important de nous plonger dans ce moment d’histoire si important qui a sauver notre pays...et comprendre la chronologie et cette organisation exceptionnelle et extraordinaire des alliers pour préparer et effectuer le débarquement et rendre hommage à ceux qui y ont perdu la vie et ceux qui s,en sont sorti.

Séjour très sympa à la rose de vents

Très joli gîte avec jardin et terrasse , très bien équipé et conforme à la description.Chaque chambre a sa salle de bain ce qui est très appréciable .Bien situé à moins de 1km du petit port et de la plage de Grandcamp Maisy .

Vie en famille

Très joli séjour le long des côtes normandes malgré le temps pluvieux et venteux, mais qq jours de soleil sur la fin nous ont réconciliés avec la Normandie, l’appartement était très bien, récent et bien entretenu.Cet appartement est bien pour 6 personnes, nous étions 5 adultes, mais on ne se serait pas vu à 8 personnes car l’espace avec le BZ déplié aurait été très réduit...Pour nous le seul bémol était l’escalier très pentu….mais c’est subjectif car nous avons tous plus de 70 ans ! La vaisselle ,en particulier les verres sont un peu justes (les grands verres à bière étaient encombrants sur la table ). Nous avons eu un petit problème de matériel, le propriétaire a été extrêmement réactif, nous le remercions beaucoup pour cela.

Good base for touring D Day bases.

As a group of 4 adults, we stayed in the property for 4 nights - used it as a base to visit the many sites and museums dedicated to WW2. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The only downsides were the lack of wardrobe hanging space and the need to take extra care on the steep, twisting staircase. Hopefully we will return. Thank you.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt im Ferienhaus. Wir haben alles so vorgefunden, wie es auf den Bildern aussieht. Das Haus war sehr sauber und alles war vorhanden. Wir sind als 5 köpfige Familie dort gewesen. Es ist der perfekte Ort um abzuschalten. Der Ort ist fußläufig in 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Wir waren zur Nebensaison dort, es war sehr ruhig, was wir auch so wollten. Im Ort ist alles vorhanden vom Bäcker, Metzger und diverse Restaurants. Es hatten einige Restaurants geschlossen, da es jetzt Nebensaison ist. Aber die die offen hatten können wir nur empfehlen. Überall wurden wir freundlich empfangen. Das Ferienhaus können wir nur empfehlen.

Great place!

Wonderful experience! Very clean and a good size gîte with a lovely garden. Visited with three generations of family (6ppl) and lots of room for us all. Liked private shower for each bedroom. Easy process, and owner very quick to answer questions. Grandcamp-Maisy is a great seaside vacation village, and good base for all the sites of the area. We came from Canada - sad to leave Normandy, hope to return!

Cancelled trip

We were sent a message in February of 22 informing us the property wasn’t available. Without any further communication/follow-up, the property owner kept the reservation and is now charging us for the entire stay.

Gîte parfait

Le gîte est très bien aménagé, il ne manque rien. Literie très confortable, cuisine très bien équipée, très beau jardin, bref tout est parfait. Beaucoup de calme, la rue à proximité n’apporte aucune nuisance. L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter St Vaast, Barfleur, les musées du débarquement. Les plages à proximité sont très belles . Et la communication avec les propriétaires est excellente, ils sont très réactifs.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed staying at this property very much. We were able to visit the D-Day beaches, Caen and Bayeux. Damien was easy to communicate with and helpful. There was ample space for a group of 4 friends. Laundry facilities were very helpful. The grocery store was very close buy. It was an all round good experience.
