"There is no shortage of "Pousada's", or bed and breakfasts, in the Urubici area. It seems to be the main cottage industry (pun kind of intended). This was a great place though, off the beaten track so it was very quiet and private. However, it was still just a few minutes from the main road and a great launching point for local attractions. "We spent seven days at Cabanas Araxá and had an amazing time in the mountains, surrounded by peaceful nature. Our experience was made even better by the exceptional hospitality of Gisele, who welcomed us warmly and ensured we had everything we needed. "Great and delicious breakfast, very filling. Mãe was very nice, friendly and welcoming. Nice and clean room. Nice view. Delicious complementary hot chocolate. But the shower was bad. It was either freezing cold water or boiling hot water. No in between. The temperature of the water couldn't be set. "
