Perfect location for relaxing, great view of mountains, and plenty of privacy.
Kitchen has a crock pot, toaster, espresso pots, and toaster, plus plenty of cooking gear.
It’s a steep single lane gravel road to get to top of mountain (lodging) with plenty of deer.
Bring groceries…it’s a hike for prepared food. Don’t miss eating at Red Dog Bar/Bistro in Piney Creek.
Based on prior reviews, we brought our own sheets and blankets. Bring firewood and starter…the fireplace is glorious!
Also, don’t miss hiking or simply visiting Grayson Highlands State Park. It’s a beautiful drive there through Christmas tree farms, and tiny towns.
We enjoyed our stay and look forward to another stay…didn’t hike ALL the trails in Grayson Highlands yet.
