Fantastic Property
Fantastic cottage / lake house located on a very quiet lake near Gravenhurst, Ontario. First experience renting cottage in the Muskoka area and was blown away by the experience. The place is over the top from the accommodation to outdoor / indoor speaker, lots of water toys, outdoor firepit, hot tub, gazebo, expansive docks etc.. A real benefit was the large screened in Muskoka room - ate all of our diners in this room. Add to that the sand beach that my daughter loved to play on. Able to rent two jet skis from the owner as he operates a watercraft rental operation in the Muskoka area. Warning - you are in for an interesting drive on the close to 5-mile / 20-minute drive road going thru forest and over swamp area with road often times being one lane. Your hope is that you do not meet another car. First drive down road I had no desire to venture out as such I stayed at cottage for the first 5 days - however on the drive out I realized that yes there are lots of places to pass or accommodate another vehicle - sometimes it requires backing up however opportunity is there. When Waze showed that road as where to turn - Private Property / No Lake Access etc. - I thought Waze was wrong. However no it was not. Overall Great Experience at a fantastic property and location. Loved the quiet lake atmosphere
