「A restaurant is exactly downstairs of our room, so it was quite noisy in the night time from the guests sitting outside of restaurant. Also there was a few second noise from the electric box of the room every minute when we turned on the air conditioning. The location of room is very good, walking distance to Matera old town. 「The location is very close to the Sassi, which was my main objective. The parking garage was also very close and convenient. Our room was fine, small shower but to be expected in Italy! All good. Now, let me tell you about the sweet host, so helpful! He set up breakfast for us, baked fresh croissants with jams and nutella, made wonderful coffee and offered yogurt, juice, Matera bread ( the best!) we were a group of 6 filling all of his rooms for the night. "The service was great. We parked at the parking lot recommended by the hotel, and there was a free shuttle that took us to the hotel. We stayed in a separate room, which had a bit of a damp smell. The room was about a 5-minute walk from the reception and the breakfast/spa area — it took a few time to remember the route. But getting lost in Matera is also a kind of romance."
