Great Spot
We were excited to use this house as a home base for our annual golf and fishing trip to Gaylord. The house was perfect for the four of us. Absolutely beautiful location and everything we needed for a long relaxing weekend. The only negative was that the pontoon boat that was advertised and supposed to be available for rent was not. The property manager told me that they were no long renting it out due to issues with the local HOA. They should update the listing to reflect that this is no longer available.

Great Getaway Location
The property was perfectly secluded right off of the lake. Everything we needed was right there and available. All of the extra equipment that was at our disposal slfor no extra cost,, such as the kayaks and paddle boat was a huge bonus! We had a ball!

Beautiful summer lake house
This was the perfect lake house for our family vacation. Ages 20 months to 54 years old! The kids swam off the dock, fished off the dock. Boat rides, tubing, relaxing! The owners were great to work with! Would stay here again!

Great for large families!!!
We had a great time at the property!!! It was very clean and exactly as described!!! The house is in a great location!!! We stayed in the winter and enjoyed the snow and ice, it would be absolutely beautiful in the summer.

Fantastic Family Getaway
Our stay here on little Bear Lake was full of fabulous memories! We had 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 Kindergarters. The house was spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed! The room with the upper deck was the perfect getaway for the teenagers, when they needed down time. The sandy beach and crystal clear waters were ideal for swimming. We spent our days fishing (we caught a ton! Bass, sun fiah, blue hills and small mouths), swimming, paddle boating, kayaking, floating off the beach, and pontoon boat rides. We ventured out to Gaylord for shopping and dinning out. We also went to Alpena to visit Austin Brothers Brewing and the local fun park. We can’t wait to visit again! Thank you Brian and Jill for sharing your beautiful slice of heaven with us!’

Beautiful property and house!
This was our first time renting something from a site like this and the process was smooth. The owners were easy to contact and very helpful. Our family of 6 had a great time. The lake was nice and sandy. Our younger boys enjoyed fishing right off the dock and our older boys loved kayaking and the swim platform. We all enjoyed the pool table and the swimming. Even the parents got to relax with a book by the lake. We enjoyed a few fires right by the lake in the fire pit as well. The neighbors were friendly too. Overall it was a great week. We will be returning and have told many friends and family about it as well. We would highly reccomend this place to anyone with or without kids!
