It was a nice getaway. The location was great and easy to get into town. It was quiet and cozy and it was super easy to check in. We would love to go back in the fall and see the how beautiful it is that time of year.
Host was amazing. Very timely response. Excellent get away from the hustle and bustle. Has everything you need and an excellent team lace to take dogs. Great movie selection! Will definitely go back and rent from host again. Exceeded expectations.
Make sure you are okay with being disconnected from the internet and cell service. We knew this going into it and enjoyed our time as a family together without the distractions.
We stayed for a quick last minute getaway. Lots of value for the price. The house was well stocked with necesseties and mostly clean. It could use a more regular deep clean as the windwsills by the kids bed had old bugs, cobwebs on some decor and under the couch trundle bed was very dirty. There wasnt wifi and the number that was left for us couldnt be used on the house phone. None of this hindered our stay though. Hot tub was the reason we booked and very easy to use and enjoy. no neighbors on that side of the house. We had a fun time with all of the games movies and puzzles. Would definitely stay again!
Had a great visit to the cabin and Toni was a great host. I was seeking a secluded cabin with a clean hot tub/firepit and that’s what I found.
The host was great about expectations… you absolutely need a suv or Awd to maneuver the hill driveway in the winter but it’s so worth it. No wifi and no cell service, it was fantastic to disconnect. The advice to arrive with groceries and firewood was a must follow.
Comfortable bed. There is another cabin the property looks down on but that’s to be expected. Really only noticed them when they were loud or in their hot tub but overall the property was so silent!
If you’re seeking solitude, nature and stargazing… this is a great choice. Special note book a Roman bath in Berkeley Springs. Absolutely amazing.
Positives:
It is a lovely location and the bed was comfortable. Check in was easy and the management company was super responsive.
Negatives:
The place is a little more run down than I had expected based on the positive reviews and price.
The management company was super responsive and lovely - but there were so many issues that I still have to give it three stars. Most importantly, the shower was broken. No shower for the whole weekend and the bath wasn’t an option since the hot water heater runs out very quickly. I’m guessing they will fix it before the next guest.
Not negative but good to know: the road is really steep. We were there in September so ideal weather. I got up it in my Jetta but I wouldn’t recommend it for a nervous driver or in any kind of winter weather.
Great place, very secluded up a steep gravel road, just what we were looking for. Very fast WiFi and great hot tub

Disliked: Communication
The cabin was wonderful. We requested a late check out but no contact was made with us about the option even though it was offered to us. We would have loved a late check out. There were a few bug issues but nothing that effected our stay too much. We would definitely rent here again.
Spent a weekend and it was perfect! Private and cozy with a lot of outdoor things to do. Some insects but to be expected. Very clean and well kept. People in general were very nice in town. Very few things to eat so I would suggest bring stuff to cook since it has a full kitchen and all you need to cook.
Summarization of property was accurate and perfect for what we were looking for. Look forward to staying again and appreciated the host’s recommendations. Everywhere we went was amazing. Caught off guard local shops only open on the weekend in off season.
An absolute amazing stay if you want to get away and live simply for some time. The property was clean and the communication was wonderful! We did have cell service through the wifi which I didn't expect and the wifi was actually really good, though we didn't need it. The hot tub was amazing and the host even confirmed the handyman checked it before our arrival. Venturing out, there are so many cool places to visit. We stay for a simple (away from a city) side of things and this was definitely one of our top three places we have stayed. I'd highly recommend.
This cabin was just what we were looking for. Well furnished with comfy beds and sofas. Good selection of movies and games. Hot tub, grill, and firepit also a huge plus. One thing to keep in mind is the steep hill on the drive up. 4WD or AWD definitely recommended

Nice Cabin
The cabin was nice and generally clean. The main heat source was not working and when the property manager was told he said he would let his maintenance man know. We spent our time in the cabin in coats! It was COLD. I would expect an actual solution to the problem since we were there several days!

Ok
Not sure why I was charged an extra cleaning fee, we had to vacuumed the carpet when we got there. Also, one of the main reasons why we chose this house was for the hot tub and when we got there the water
A small group of friends used this amazing space for our winter solstice get away. The cabin is indeed 'off the grid' meaning very little cell reception and no internet - which makes for a delightful retreat. We were able to enjoy the fire pit, gaze at the stars from the hot tub, and enjoy so much of the common space and kitchen. The space is very cozy and great for gatherings (too often livingrooms/common spaces feel like an afterthought in rentals). This was a really great space.
The property was just as advertised and in wonderful condition. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend - kitchen appliances and supplies, bathroom toiletries, and movies and games galore! Even though it was winter, we got outside and enjoyed the screened in porch, firepit, and hot tub! It was a beautiful, short drive to Berkeley Springs where we ate a dinner, shopped, and reserved time at the Berkeley Springs Roman Bath House for a hot spring soak. My husband, two young boys, and our dog had a great getaway weekend!
Trip and host were great! No complaints, and looking forward to staying again! 4wd is recommended for the last 1/4 mile because it is steep and unpaved with several large rocks to clear or watch for as of March ‘23. Seeing the sunrise from the hot tub while listening to the woods wake up should be on your list of things to do. Berkley Springs Brewery is a nice spot with good selection. The other cabins in the community are far enough apart to have a sense of privacy while remaining visible.
