Our Ahhh...Riverwood Experience
This is a terrific place for any family. Arrived to a very clean, inviting home. Tons of room, amazing screened in porch that surrounds two sides, So quiet and relaxing. The two of us stayed for 4 nights. Our son and daughter in law and granddaughter came and spent a day with us. Great gas grill for barbeque, big fire ring with lots of wood, great game room in finished basement with foosball, air hockey and pool table. Lots of board games and books too. Nice wood burning stove (we didn't use but plenty of firewood is provided). Kitchen is equipped with most everything you need. Intriguing artwork on all walls, washer/dryer in case you need it. Outside screened in porch is huge, with furniture galore. Rockers, hanging chairs, benches, tables. Space to be all together but also lots of space for privacy and to just be alone. You will need to navigate one level of stairs. Close to many interesting and fun places, like Berkley Springs and many others. We visited and hiked to PawPaw Tunnel an amazing dig through the mountain for the C&O Canal. Enjoyed our stay very much.

President's Weekend Getaway
This was a great place for a family weekend. The weather was chilly and windy, so we weren't able to use the fire pit or make s'mores, but lots of inside activities and hot chocolate. The house was spacious, although the bunk beds in the basement were a bit out of the way and the basement was too cold for the kids to sleep in. We made do. Had a great time enjoying family time.

Wonderful, Peaceful Stay
This is a very cozy, well-appointed house that has done an excellent job of considering the guests and what their needs might be. The location is private and peaceful and an easy drive to lovely hiking and downtown Berkeley Springs. The screened-in porch is a great feature. We had a wonderful stay. Game room, extra games and DVDs were nice to have. The only negative to our stay was that we heard gunshots often, over and over in the neighborhood as if people were doing target practice. However, this is not the fault of the property--just something to be aware of. We would definitely come back and stay. Thanks for the very comfortable stay!!
