The Grand Union is a gem. An iconic piece of Montana history, the renovated Grand Union combines historic charm with modern amenities and exceptional dining. Its setting on the banks of the Mighty Mo is both spectacular and soothing.

Return Trip Did Not Disappoint

2nd trip to Grand Union. Despite bad weather had a great stay. Incredible step back into history in a 140 year old historic building. Great pillows and towels! Nicely renovated and maintained. Again, their restaurant may be the highlight of our stay!

There is so much history here, a great walking trail along the Missouri River and the fall colors were really showing off. The restaurant was amazing. We had a suite that looked out on the river, absolutely gorgeous.

This is a beautiful hotel. The saloon and restaurant are wonderful and our room was fantastic. The staff are friendly. We loved our visit to Fort Benton!

Sleep where you are steeped in history

This is a charming historic hotel with a wonderful, friendly staff. The dining room is pricey, but the meal was delicious. The Grand Union is walking distance to all of Fort Benton's amazing historic sites and museums.
