Our booked Meerkat experience was cancelled due to heavy rain but Theo offered to rearrange that for the following morning - and we are so glad not to have missed that! “The Sweetfontein Boutique Farm is away from town and so peaceful and quiet, so refreshing! The farm has several different cottages with different amenities to suit your needs. Our room had a large comfortable bed and small twin bed, plus refrigerator, private bathroom, air conditioning and large patio with plenty of outdoor furniture. The farm has 3 pools, plus different restaurants, common sitting areas, and walking paths to view plants, animals and ceramic shop. The breakfasts, lunch and……

“Wonderful staff, huge suite. The spa was great. The guest house is located on an ostrich farm. Dinner was excellent.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at old Mill. We were in one of the tents which have air conditioning, which was nice since it was a little warm and it was on the river driving by the other places I think we made the right choice. Dinner was fantastic My only complaint is they say it’s working ostrich farm so I was really looking forward to seeing and interacting with ostriches. They had four that you could feed mind you. They bite a little lol and 20 or so as you leave. Besides that great place”

“The eco village is tucked away in the private nature reserve. Wonderful views of springboks as you drive to the eco village on the grounds. Rooms were clean and modern, exceptionally comfortable bed. We will welcomed upon arrival with a glass of port - nice touch. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional, tasty food especially the rack of lamb. Stargazing with Eben was an exciting and unique experience. Will stay here again.”
