Loved our stay at the charming McConnell Inn! Our room was as described and true to the pictures. The hosts were wonderful and the homecooked breakfast was excellent! Will definitely stay here again when visiting Green Lake.

The interior was so fun. Loved the breakfast and the meeting with other people who were staying there. A very cozy and comfortable place.

One of the best parts of running a B&B is the Breakfast, from trying different recipes to meeting our guests and they in turn meeting each other.We are so glad you were comfortable and enjoyed the inn.

Beautiful gardens and building. Nice neighborhood for walking. Bed was uncomfortable. Seemed like we were in an almost empty house. Absolutely no interaction with any staff, even by phone. Communication only done by text. Not one person except a few guests in sight. It was…odd. Breakfast delivered to the room and then the person delivering almost ran from the door. Odd

Thank you for your input. I am sorry our Covid protocols left you feeling alone or odd, we also miss interaction with our guests. Happy to say we have recently started offering breakfast in the dining room to a limited number of guests at each seating as we continue to balance CDC guidelines and guests' enjoyment.

Absolutely wonderful B&B! Beautiful impeccably clean room, wonderful amenities, and the most delicious breakfast delivered to our door in the am. Limited contact with host due to COVID but still felt welcomed. We loved the McConnell Inn and can't wait to come back

The decor was very unique and our particular room was very cozy. We never actually met our hosts in person, but had their contact information, so could text or call them with our questions.

Our hosts communicated very well about check in, our room, breakfast, check out, etc. We had a delicious breakfast. Green Lake is a very cute, welcoming town. We would definitely visit again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We needed a quiet get away and McConnell Inn was perfect. We stayed in the Master Suite which was the entire 3rd floor and the view was spectacular! Beautiful home with beautiful grounds. A wrap around porch with a hanging wooden bench swing for a cup of morning coffee or an evening glass of wine is divine. The morning breakfasts we're scrumptious! The hosts we're kind and very accommodating. Can't wait to return!

This place just keeps getting better! Walk-through or very quaint downtown area and just five minutes. Beautiful lake nearby. Breakfast is amazing! Can’t wait to come back :-)

Wonderful lake breeze
The McConnell Inn was better than expected. Beautiful room, great breeze blowing in the windows, and Mary Jo and Scott provided excellent service. Our only minor issue was no TV in the room. A small antenna TV would have been great. Would stay here again and again.

Thank you for your comments. although we have high speed internet (allows for streaming), the only room with a tv is the Master Suite. There is a television in the living room for guests' use. We look forward to seeing you again and again!

Awesome find!
The house is really neat and very clean. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and arrived hot at our door each morning. Our hosts were very pleasant and gave us some ideas of places to go/things to see. The location is perfect for a quick walk to the lake or to the bars/restaurants. We parked on the street in front of the house and could see our car from the windows. It's a very safe, friendly neighborhood and we'll be coming back soon!

Handy location, clean room. Room was too warm with no way to control the temperature. We were able to get a window open to cool it down. Never met owners. Breakfasts were good!

An Enjoyable Stay.
Our stay was really nice. Mary Jo bent over backwards to care for their guests during COVID-19. Just strange not being able to personally converse with them. The room was well kept and comfortable. The Inn itself was well kept and lovely. The only thing Hotels.com made it sound like TV was in every room. Only in the Master Suite. There are many things near by and walking distance too.

This is a lovely old home in beautiful Green Lake. It is fully up to code but without losing its charm. It faces the lake, and we were fortunate enough to have a lake-facing window. It is an easy walk to many cute shops and coffeehouses, and it is close to the ABA compound and Lawsonia golf course.

Fun weekend getaway.
The location was really good-just a short block away from the main street and right across from the lake. It was near a variety of restaurants and shops that were accessible by foot and some a just a short ride. The breakfast was delicious. The room was very charming and well appointed, and that includes reading lights, hooks, towels,etc.
