We had a relaxing weekend away and did some hiking on Rimrock Overlook trail in the Allegheny National forest and went to see Kinzua Dam. Both were only a short distance from the property. “The property was very clean and quaint. It was much smaller than I had envisioned, even though it was clearly depicted in the picture shown the line. Having an old lady bladder. And having to come down those stairs from the attic to use the bathroom during the nightwere very frightening however they were clearly marked to take your time. My husband who main objective was to fish was able to catch a few perch in the inlet right outside our door. Chautauqua Lake resort was not far away.We did……

“Our group stayed Friday night through Sunday morning. Our cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated. There are multiple cottages on the property with grills, picnic tables, a communal fire pit, as well as docks if you will be bringing a boat. Rachel was very prompt at answering any questions we had. We had a great time!”

“The Cottage was Perfect and looked exactly as pictured! The rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, and the house was clean! The Bathrooms were great and the AC and fans were very helpful during the hot week that we visited. The kitchen appliances & outdoor grills all worked well. Parking was spacious and we property felt pretty private even though we had neighbors next door. We even caught some little fish in the inlet to the lake. “This is our 3rd stay at this beautiful lake house and I am about to book 8 more nights in 2026. This home is beautiful inside and out and it’s always spotless. Our whole family enjoyed daily kayak trips and our grandchildren spent a lot of time swimming in the lake. It’s a peaceful area and I especially enjoyed having my coffee on the lovely wrap around porch in the am watching the sun rise. Looking forward to our next stay. ”
