The space is incredibly cozy and beautifully decorated—it truly feels like a home away from home.The location was perfect for our visit to the New River Gorge area, and we especially loved relaxing at the house—it was such a peaceful spot for reading and unwinding. We also enjoyed the stunning views around the property.One of the most special parts of our stay was the time we spent together as a family. Being without internet actually helped us reconnect with our three teenagers in a meaningful way. We really appreciated the thoughtful touch of having games like UNO and Jenga available—it made our evenings so much fun and memorable.Every detail of the cottage made our stay comfortable and truly unforgettable.We’re so grateful for the stay and would absolutely love to come back again. While we’re not fishermen, I understand that’s a big draw for many people—but for me, the mountain and river views alone make it completely worth it.The cabin is very comfortable and well-equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Stores are conveniently located about 10 minutes away, which makes things easy without taking away from the peaceful, secluded feel.If you have dogs, they will absolutely love it here. The entire property is beautiful—from the wildflowers growing along the hillside and throughout the yard to the private river access. It’s just a special place all around. I would live here in a heartbeat. "
