Lovely place to stay in Greytown, the stars are amazing in a clear night. The room are a great size with a homely feel. Walking distance into Greytown.

Highly recommend with a minor issue
First impression on arrival was awesome, such a nice and friendly greeting, very relaxed and efficient. We stayed in the Accessible Studio. The park was right outside, there was a table and 2 chairs at the front and a set at the back - great to have a choice depending on the sun and whether you wanted privacy or not. The room was a perfect size for what we wanted in our 1 night stay. The kitchen was small but functional for our needs, with all the cutlery required to cook our meal. The area around the motel was pleasant to walk around and it was a nice long walk to the city centre. Our minor issue (which we didn't rate down for, just saying) - the bathroom had one light switch and it was one that turned the fan on at the same time. We understand the reason for a fan, but.... when not using the shower, just the mirror or going to the toilet, it is extremely noisy. Might be nice, even if it is just for when using the mirror, to have another mirror on the wall outside the bathroom if a separate light switch cannot be installed.

Thank you for the review Liz, I am glad you enjoyed your time in Greytown. I understand about the fan switch however some guests don't turn the fan on when showering which causes other problems. There is a mirror in the cupboard in the lounge area. I hope to welcome you back to Oak Estate some other time. :)

Trina (The Owner) was a wonderful host. Her service delivery and genuine desire to ensure our group was happy during our stay was "second to none". Her professionalism and kindness was superb. All facilities were very clean and of a high standard - nestled in a quiet area (perfect to retreat to after a busy day out).

Loved our stay. Will not book through Expedia again though. Charged $60 more than a direct booking. Plus expedia did not book for 3 adults as booked & charged for! Had to all sleep in one room with one adult on a fold out bed (at no fault of the owners)
