“We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel for one night before an early morning flight. It was a great find! Our first-floor room had been recently updated and was spacious enough for three people. Although we arrived late and the small bar was already closed, the hosts were very gracious and kindly provided us with a glass of wine and some snacks. We weren’t able to stay for breakfast, but they had pastries available early in the morning for guests to grab and go, which was a nice touch. If……

“The castle sits on a hill near the center of town with a breathtaking view of the hills. The town itself, has nothing to offer but a walking park by the public parking lot. One must have a car to travel anywhere. Castellamare Del Golfo beach is about 30 minutes by car, each way, making it a highlight. Palermo is about an hour, Segesta Greek ruins about 45 minutes, and Erice about 90 minutes. The rooms were clean, small, the window could not be fully opened. The staff was cold, the food was……

“Honestly, it was very underwhelming. The location was lovely. The views are amazing. We arrived and checked into our room, which was just okay. No kettle in the room and the shower was just an attachment over the bath with no screen or even curtain. They did have a mini fridge in the room. One of the sockets didnt work but oh well. The window opened to a great view unfortunately pigeons had caused a mess all over the windowsill which hadnt been cleaned as it was the same the next day. It……
