“Excellent location as near to everything you want to see. Communication with the owner was great and we highly recommend using the Transfer from Bari Airport they organise for you. The room is quiet with the windows closed and the aircon worked. It us a unique room to stay in. The La Lopa restaurant across the street is great for the Sampling menu and then go down to its Cinema in a cave afterwards. Make sure to book in advance. Places shut between 2.30 and 4.00pm due to the heat but then open……

"The service was great. We parked at the parking lot recommended by the hotel, and there was a free shuttle that took us to the hotel. We stayed in a separate room, which had a bit of a damp smell. The room was about a 5-minute walk from the reception and the breakfast/spa area — it took a few time to remember the route. But getting lost in Matera is also a kind of romance."
