Great Stay

Owls Landing was a fantastic place, a real home away from home. There was loads of space, it was really nicely presented and the facilities were excellent. Everybody loved playing pool and the retro video games, and the location was great for accessing the lake. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely come back.

We really loved to wonderful home. My son and husband absolutely love the games room. It had lots of games. They loved the Pool table. The Kitchen had every piece of equipment you could ever need. We even got to see a deer in the garden. Would highly recommend P Street

Fabulous

From the moment we opened the door I knew I have made a great choice. From the cleanliness to the complete kitchen set-up, this home is top notch. Pots, knives, glasses, utensils, blender. Then add a cabinet with soup, coffee, mac n cheese, marsh mellows, and all sorts of spices, it was just perfect. Thank you for paying such close attention to these details.

Nice foothills retreat

Nice place, great location. Very close to the golf course, plus in the home itself my friend and I enjoyed amenities including shooting pool and throwing darts. This place provided a nice leisurely weekend. Would definitely re-visit.

Beautiful Location

This was the best vacation that our family has had in the past 5 years. Perfect location to Yosemite with the choice of tennis, golf or swimming. Check in and check out was simple. House has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing weekend.

Nice and super comfortable

If you only like modern style, this might not be the good fit, but otherwise, we highly recommended this house. We really enjoyed the game room, with a great pool table (the dartboard was useless with broken darts). Nice living room with comfortable couches and a fireplace, well equipped kitchen, comfortable master bedroom. Super clean. The area is also nice and very quiet, and like others, we got the visit of deers every morning.

This is a nice roomy home. Huge kitchen was a plus for us. Used as our base camp for Yosemite, the location was an easy 30 minute drive to the North entrance. Next time we come in warmer weather will definitely use the beautiful private lake. No cell or Wi-Fi available at the property as described but we went a mile up the road the local market parking lot and were able to use all our devices. The small local market MarVal was surprisingly well stocked with all items we we are used to seeing at our local big chain stores. Each day we were created by a few deer right outside the back window.

Great location only 30.minutes from the north Yosemite park entrance. Loved having the pool table and saw some deer every day out the back window. Very large kitchen. Would come back again.

Cozy get-away

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was very comfortable! We saw so many deer in the mornings and loved the stars at night! The things that I would suggest to change would be that the shower handle in the master was loose and came off a few times and the kitchen appliances were dated....but overall the place was great for our whole family, it's close the the lake and we would totally stay here again :)

The Great Escape!

This was a secluded community with lots of beautiful nature. We woke up to several deer in our backyard. It was simply amazing! There was very very little to no reception and no WiFi which was great because we were able to enjoy the outdoors more and bond with one another. You have to go into town on the main road in order to get the slightest bit signal but again it was great to take a break from the internet and social media. Would 100% do it again!

Close to park, great house.

This house is big, full kitchen, whirlpool tub. Very cozy, but very dated. That's OK, it's not dated and stinky, just built in the 80's. Place was great for a family, town has most of what you'd need. The only think I'd ask of the owner is internet. There is zero cell coverage at this place, so it's awesome if you want to get away from it ALL.

Good base for Yosemite

Large house, good base for visiting Yosemite. Nice lake and various activities in the complex. Feel that a lack of wifi (as mentioned in the booking info) is a bit inconvenient, but if you park outside the local grocery store you can get online. Kids loved the deer roaming around the area. I'd recommend that you bring as much food with you and fill up with gas before you arrive, it's quite expensive around here due to its location.

Yosemite!

Great property and location. Beautiful surroundings. Stayed in July and traveled into Yosemite valley each day. Approx 30 minutes to the main gate. Phenomenal scenery and experience. Entire family loved it. The property is very cosy, spacious and charming. Very clean. Kids loved the pool table and darts. Very comfy chairs in family room. Good facilities in kitchen and nice big fridge freezer. Looks like the electric goods have not been replaced for years, but they were made when things were built to last and they all worked absolutely fine. It added to the charm and timelessness of the place. Only complaint was the bed in the master suite was a bit uncomfortable - very soft and creaky. If that was upgraded it would be perfect. Would stay again regardless.

Not quite what we expected

Location is great - near the lake and all the amenities. We enjoyed Pine Mountain Lake! The house looked like the photos and was clean, but has fallen into disrepair. The kitchen is stocked well, and there is plenty of room in the house. The swing on the back porch is nice - good place to see deer in the morning.

Lovrly house

Really nice house in a really nice place. We had a great time. The only reason I rated 4 and not 5 is because it doesn't provide internet and there's not cell service in this area which is great to disconnect but it also makes difficult to plan routes or anything else for your trips during the day.
