“My husband and I stayed for 3 nights with our dog and have a lovely time! The cottage was the perfect size for us and was very comfortable and quiet. The location was great too!”

“Generally speaking my wife and I had a comfortable stay but some pics of the exterior property must be old, it is kind of overgrown in the front and dead leaves were everywhere until a landscaping guy came, but he blew leaves all over our car and bikes that were on the front porch. Also, the entry keypad is not backlit so it is extremely hard to use. The only other things we thought were a bit off were that the dryer did not work very well at all, and the bathroom tub has moldy black caulking……

“This house is in THE perfect location. You can walk to Crabtrap, Crabdaddy’s, Fiddlers, local brewery, the King & Prince. House is beautiful inside. Backyard is accessible and adorable. Oh and the wraparound porch is the cherry on top. It’s huge!! I am super picky and everything was up to my standards. Absolutely adore and will rent it again the next time I go 100%”

“We traveled to Fernandina Beach to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with a short stay. We booked this property because my daughter was bringing friends and the bed situation in this house was just right. My daughter was able to stay with her friends in one bedroom while I had the other bedroom. There was also space in the main part of the house for a queen size air mattress. The house was very clean and as pictured in the listing photos so we were happy. We also enjoyed a couple of the features……

“Comfortable and clean cottage well supplied with all your needs. Less than a mile to great restaurants and beach access. Our little Doxie enjoyed her stay too! Will definitely come back to this cottage again. Owner was outstanding in communication. Try it you’ll love it!”

“The 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for me and my 2 married friends to visit St Mary. They stayed in the queen bed room and me in the twin room. Really cute fenced in patio on the side and a separate covered front porch as well (we kept our bikes there while it rained). Great location for biking around St Mary and also taking the ferry to Cumberland Island!”

“This is a lovely cottage decorated beautifully. I would prefer a drip coffeemaker. The cottage has practically everything you need. We will definitely be going back with our coffeemaker.”

“This was the perfect place for 2 families during a week long spring break trip. We had 4 teenage girls and 2 sets of parents. The accommodations were above and beyond. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels for all. The kitchen was very well stocked with all of the essentials and then some. We had a problem with the elevator upon arrival and needed it as we had a teenager with a torn ACL. The host was so sweet and very quick to send help and the elevator was up and going. We would definitely……

“The location is great with only steps to the pool. The pool pavilion is very nice and lots of shade. There is a very nice boardwalk to the beach. The house is very well stocked and comfortable seating for all in the general living area.”

“This was our 2nd time at this location. Clean, comfortable and such appealing decor! A user friendly kitchen and a heavenly bed made staying there a real pleasure.”

“the house was ideal for our family - the kids stayed safely in the poolhouse. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Great kitchen, sitting areas, bathrooms were updated and clean. Our only compliant was some of the accessories described were not accurate - the bikes for the kids were not working, only two beachchairs with the others rusted shut, etc. We also had a pool cleaning issue but that can happen. Just can't give it a 5 star with a couple of the "misses" - we would for sure rent……

“perfect for a little weekend getaway! we stayed in a studio room which was perfect for the 2 of us, the room was clean and stocked with what we might need. Pool was large with plenty of seating but we wished the pool bar was open! ”

“Very close to historical downtown and other shopping. What I didn’t like was dusty inside and the disposing of our trash was not super clear. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay there again or any other Tucker Stay property.”
