"Though there is no check-in desk, someone arrived quickly after a phone call to take us to our room. The guest house was spotless, and the kitchen/dining area had everything we needed to prepare a hearty breakfast and hot drinks. The view of Kirkjufell from our room was an unexpected treat! Walking distance to several restaurants and cafes, next door to a fascinating gallery spread out all over the area, and a short drive to Kirkjufell itself. This is a nice place to stay if you want the ferry from Stykkishólmur, too!"

"Sweet hotel in the middle of nowhere as are all the hotels on this peninsula. Very kind and helpful staff. Hotel is located perfectly for 2 days seeing all the sites on the peninsula. Very close to seal beach. Rooms are small but that was expected. Very clean. Restaurant food was delicious. Loved the dinner and breakfasts! Right on the golf course!"

"Very basic room but very clean. We were lucky that the staff was there when we checked in so we did not have to go through the Internet to get in. There’s a nice well equipped kitchen that shared by all the guest. A fridge stove, dishwasher everything you need."

"Couple travelling from Canada, we enjoyed our stay at this property. It is self check in via lock boxes which made timing easier. We stayed on the second floor of the hostel (stairs only if that is an issue for you), and were pleased with the separate shower and washrooms. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. We would stay again."
