The staff were lovely and so helpful! The room had the most fabulous view and the property was quiet. A perfect place to stay over Christmas time!

Attic room with no windows
We were greeted on arrival and told that we needed to use the control pad to open the skylights, as our room, room 7, is an attic room and has no windows. The room was warm upon entering, so I turned the radiator in the bedroom off, and the towel rail in the bathroom. I then used the control pad to try and open the skylights. The system initially told me that I could not open the skylights as it was raining, but I had the option to continue anyway. On operating, the skylights in the bedroom opened about 4 cm and then stopped but the skylight in the bathroom never moved, despite selecting “open all skylights” on the control pad. Quite literally, 5 minutes later, the skylights closed… Despite my best efforts, this happened every time that I tried to open the skylights, and consequently the room was hot and airless making sleeping difficult.

Great location right in the little village. Very comfortable beds in spacious room and bathroom. Friendly and welcoming staff.
