The meals were delicious, the room was always clean, a few dogs helped to make it feel like home. This family run ecolodge was perfect for a relaxing week. Rosa and Yoki had their chef prepare a wonderful little birthday celebration for me…how good is that!!

Wonderful location (a bit remote, but worth it!) and very gracious staff! My family enjoyed our stay here so much and will remember it for years. We especially enjoyed the monkeys, horseback riding, and the food!

What a great place to stay, great people, accommodations that keep you comfortable while allowing you to really experience the forest and good food and drinks to cap it all off, wish I'd stayed longer.

We loved our stay here. We saw others who regretted not staying more than one night so we booked 2. It was my kids favorite place of the whole vacation. Next time we will stay even longer. We did the horse riding and also had a farm experience one day. The meals were delicious and the wildlife was stunning. Excellent hosts and staff! Thank you!

What a beautiful place and the owners and staff is so kind and makes you feel so welcome. The cabins are very nice, food is delicious and the setting is absolutely gorgeous. I wish my time here could have been longer as there is so much more to explore. I hope to bring my kids here soon.

Services and the staff are exceptional. We ate breakfast and dinner for two days and loved the food! Thank you Yocky! If you want to stay at a place that feels close to nature, this is it. We saw many birds from our glass-walled cabin. An ant highway ran right outside our door!

What an amazing stay! The farm is thriving with wildlife and the plants. There’s so much hiking nearby. Our room was comfortable and cooled off at night. We loved the place so much that we want to come again. Very well maintained and the owners feel like family

I wish I had known about this place before wasting my money somewhere else. Santa María Volcano Lodge is amazing. I stayed here with my two small children, and the experience was excellent. The staff are outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring. I’m 100% sure there’s a lot to do here, and the atmosphere is peaceful, beautiful, and family-friendly. This is the kind of place that makes you want to come back. Highly recommended.

Amazing and tranquil place!

The staff here were super friendly and the cabins were impeccably clean. Had a cozy night in one of the loft cabins.This area of Costa Rica has cooler weather, so you don't have to worry about being too hot. The restaurant staff were warm and welcoming and the food was great. This is an amazing deal for the price. Definitely would recommend!
