Friendly and quiet neighborhood

If you're willing to drive a little to see the tourist hotspots, then this gem is perfect. Beautiful views, quiet area, close to incredible restaurants, and a very gracious host.

It was nice :)

Had a very enjoyable time , loved the fact that the ocean was just in front ,and the view was wonderful. If you just want to relax ,enjoy the sound of the waves, and watch Manti's this is a great place. Just can't go swimming , but the pool at the property is available. The home was nice and suitable for us. The house keepers Hector and Felicita are readily available when needed and good people. We had an awesome time on the island.

Not what it seem!

The pictures promote a place that upon arrival its in reality in need of TLC...everthingvwas old and clearly unattended. We had a great time in PR and used the place to sleep. From that perspective it served its purpose. The was no internet and no usable TV if you come to disconnect lije we did then those shortcomings are of no impact.

Wonderful Vacation

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time staying here. Having the ocean on one side and the mountains to see on the other was awesome. The property itself has alot to keep you busy. The pool, Basketball court ( my son and husband used every night), and of course walking the beach ( water shoes a must, makes it easier and enjoyable) . The house itself needs a little updated ( Appliances, Bathroom , Kitchen, and a really good deep clean.) We also got to see alot of different sea life. Sea Urchins, Sea Slugs, fish, Blue Crabs and also one day saw about 20 manatees swim by. The resturant next door has amazing food and the view and people were great. There is a awesome swim spot down the beach way past the resturant by the blue boat that is beached and found a ton of Sand dollars and shells along the way. We Traveled alot each day checking out the island so having this place to come back to and relaxing each day was awesome. Thanks for a great stay.

It worked, but it just wasn't as good of an experience as I had hoped.

We reserved because originally our friends were staying and they invited to stay at the second house. The owner response was nice and quick, although the property is over price. It does need updates and repairs, also better sheets, furniture and towels. Beach is at the backyard, but you can’t swim. Also, basic cleaning is something that the house need. Apparently they rest on how the guess leave the property (because they ask you to clean it) and they don’t clean. Windows were really dirty. Water supply was poor. So, overall, we did enjoy ourselves. It worked, but it just wasn't as good of an experience as I had hoped and pay for it.

Disgustingly Dirty!!

I recently stayed at the above home for a Family vacation Christmas 2016 to celebrate my 40th Birthday. I was very excited for this trip. This place was disgusting upon check in. First off don't be fooled by the photo stating this is a Beach Front Gem. You can't swim in the ocean outside the house you have to walk down the beach carrying all your beach supplies (there are no beach chairs only towels) to another location and the beach isn't nice. As we walked around with the property manager we were just happy after traveling all day/night to get there that we hadn't noticed how gross the house was. The the floors had piles of dirt and dead bugs along all the walls, under the kitchen table were dirt, spiderwebs, more dead bugs and a huge spider. As we opened the Fridge there was food particles with dead ants. The chair cushions were moldy along with the shower curtains, the pillows on the bed were brown with peoples slobber and sweat (we went to Walmart). One of the air conditioning units didn't work so sleeping at night was almost impossible. I woke every morning with a new ant farm in the master bedroom, up the walls, in my make-up bag, in my suitcase. I was so disgusted. When we first checked in we were explicitly told by the property manager not to contact her boss. So we tried to contact her daily more than one time each day with no response until we finally couldn't take it anymore and contacted Bob. We thought he would be more than understanding since it was my understanding that he hadn't actually visited the property to see what state it was in (and it also had a for sale sign which might be half the issue). We had decided to leave early and Bob wouldn't refund any money stating that the people who checked in after us were happy. Well of course they were we walked the Property Manager around showing her all the things that needed to be cleaned and how grossed out we were. I even have picture of most everything that Bob didn't ask to see for proof. Besides the house being unacceptably dirty it is not in a good location. We had to drive up to 4 1/2 hours each day to get to all the area attractions (and the roads in Puerto Rico are terrible) There was only one restaurant we could walk to and it was so busy each day we never had a chance to try it. The house also has a bar right next door which when you have been traveling all day and are exhausted isn't good for at least trying to sleep. If you are thinking about this location please think twice.

Customer Beware

I would not rank this place with one star but it is the only way I can do a review. First the good thing - Bob was extremely helpful until I asked for a refund because I was not satisfied with the place. IT WAS FILTHY and I have pictures to prove how horrible it was. There were dead bugs and black mold in the refrigerator. Spider webs everywhere. The light fixture above the dining room table had a pile of dead bugs in it. The stove was disgusting, looked like it had not been cleaned in a few years - I dared not use it. All around the edges and corners of the floors was total gunk, the bathtub had dirt in it and the floors were full of gunk. The floors had not even been swept under the furniture. We swept up piles of dirt when we got there. One of the reasons Bob would refund my money was because we did not contact him right away!!! The caretaker explicitly asked us not to contact him. We tried contacting her from the day of our arrival and got no response. The only time she responded to us was after we contacted Bob. The pillows were stained, the air conditioner in one room didn't work. I was carrying around a can of RAID because every day i woke to hundreds of ants in the master bedroom/bathroom. I had to keep my suitcase closed so ants wouldn't get on my clothes. Don't be fooled by the photo of a beach house, you can't swim in the beach outside the house. The beach 1/4 mi away is not much of a beach and I would not recommend it. If you can overlook dirt and filth this place may be fine for you. But, if you are planning to take in the sights of Puerto Rico this house is not in a good location. Anything worth doing or seeing is at least 1 1/2 hour drive - so you will spend at least 3-4 hours in a car everyday. If all you plan to do is sit and watch the waves this could work for you. I would not recommend this place and I honestly can't think of a nice thing to say
