Comprising of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a shower, this holiday home is equipped with a flat-screen TV. There is a dining area and a kitchen equipped with an oven. Lots of potential but needs some TLC
Good size property for 6 adults and 1 infant. Plenty of parking and room for the dogs to run around. Not dog-proof fencing so if you have run-away dogs, you'll need to be careful. Quiet street, close to the river. Drinks on the balcony at sunset are lovely. The downside of our stay - the property really needs a bit of a revamp such as updating furniture (as some of it is run down and dodgy), crockery (chipped and mismatched), cutlery (old and mismatched) etc. Outside furniture and BBQ were full of cobwebs and dirty. Also, quite a few other issues which impacted on our stay. Unfortunately, all of these small problems put together, makes for a disappointing stay. Property could do with a good spring clean to bring it back to its former glory. Wouldn't rush back in the state it is in at the moment, but it has the potential to be great again.

pets owners beware
the property did its job, pretty much, overall. (Allthough a balcony light wouldnt go astray?) We however booked under the understanding the property was secure for a dog? The entire fence around the property ranges from 1meter down to 70cm with a run down barbed wire fence along the back that our boxer was through within 5 minutes of being at the property. So if you have a pet with any energy or size, make sure they have a contact number on the collar, because they wont be staying in the yard.

Best part of town
After 20 years - the moore River drive/Stephens crescent end of town is still the best - especially if you like being away from the windy beach!!! Overall the property suited our needs great, however it was a bit inconvenient to arrive with 2 full general waste bins which had clearly missed the weekly tues pickup schedule and stunk till high heaven for most of our visit. We had to deal with complaints from the Neighbour’s about them and they weren’t emptied until 5 day of our 6 day stay. Although a stinky stay I’m sure it’s a one off due to the time of the year and we would definitely recommend to others.

We loved it.
Stayed at this property with 4 adults, a toddler and an infant. We all loved it. A great balcony with comfy seats to enjoy, lots of space in the living room, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed plus some. Comfy enough beds. Even a hammock out front, a great backyard if you’re bringing dogs (we had three) they loved chasing each other out back and it was secure enough we didn’t have to worry about them while we were inside. Our group would definitely stay here again :)

Homeaway website very difficult to negotiate. Comfortable and clean but overpriced
Love Moore River and Great location if you want peace and quiet. (until the dirt bikes started next door) No freezer in the kitchen but one downstairs. Had to give up on the Homeaway website when I tried to make changes to my booking. Options in My trip were not there.
