Guimarães Family Hotel

"We stayed at the winery for two nights - although I wish we had added another night or two. The house and grounds are intimate - think less huge winery with tasting rooms, bottling facilities and warehouses and more small, quaint, family run operation. In fact the owner and his family live at the winery and share many of the same spaces you do - although it's never a distraction. Everyone is super nice and the rooms and grounds are amazing. The pool is beautiful - it' easy to lose an afternoon...

Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly amazing staff that always go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. Special thanks go to Mr. José Mendez who always makes sure that all guests are having a wonderful time. Furthermore, the swimming pool is very nice and heated, and we really enjoyed the mini-golf and the little steam next to it. "

"Nice rural location, nice welcome from hostes with estate wine, breakfast in the veranda was excellent with personalized choices. No air conditioning was an issue for us, windows helped but allowed for mosquitoes and insects to enter. "
