Not the best experience! we made the best out of it! Needs to have a deep cleaning done throughout the whole unit. Pee stained beds ( master bed and pull out couch mattress) guest room bed had the blood spot on the mattress topper. HVAC unit needs to have a good cleaning of the vents and duct work bc debris across the ceiling and hanging from the vents themselves. Like I said NEEDS A DEEP CLEANING NOT JUST A SPOT CLEAN.

We loved our stay here. Cleanliness is always a top priority for me and this unit did not disappoint! The views and location are great. Would recommend replacing the torn windows screens so guests have the option to sleep with the window up!

NEGATIVES...It needs to be dusted badly. There were cobwebs and dust bunnies stuck to the wall in places where the ac vents blow. Very little storage for groceries in the kitchen. One small closet that has outdated appliances like a crockpot stored in it. Hall bath is VERY SMALL.One of the chairs on the balcony is broken on the seat and arm rest. Window screens are shredded and need to be replaced on both bedrooms. Sheets left for the pull out couch were stained. Luckily we did not need to use it.Parking is 30/vehicle for up to 30 days. So even if you're staying 2 nights its still 30.The emails you get from the rental company are lengthy and contain inaccurate information and need to be updated - the emails state cash only for parking passes - not true. The gate code for pool and beach access that was sent in multiple emails was also incorrect. The check in process, while virtual and convenient, was a pain. You have a LENGTHY contract to e-sign and initial multiple times, you have to submit a photo of your drivers license and a selfie before arrival and upon arrival you have to send a selfie of yourself in front on the door.POSITIVES...The view is wonderful and beach access is very easy.Kitchen is updated and well stocked with plenty of dishes and cookware.Security on site was SO nice and helpful.Texting the rental agency with questions or problems is easy and they respond quickly.Tons of carts available for loading/unloading.

Great location

Nice complex and convenient location. Condo was everything we needed for 4 adults. Beds were comfortable and the beachfront and pool view from the balcony was great.

Spring break gem

Condo was perfect for our spring break getaway. Gorgeous views of the beach and close to a variety of restaurants and activities. Would definitely recommend.

Tradewinds 805

The listing was as described. It was clean, had a fabulous view, and was close to restaurants and shops. Unfortunately, our check-in information was inaccurate. The code to enter the condo was correct, but the Wi-Fi code and the pool codes were not. The leasing agent was very responsive and worked to rectify the problem. Due to the check-in problems, we gave the overall rating a 4 instead of a 5.

It was okay

Cons: Upon arrival noticed the condo wasn’t really cleaned as expected more of “spit shined”, took the refrigerator over 12hrs to food cold as it should be in a fridge, the outlets are very sketchy they will not hold anything you plug in it falls right out, there is mold in hidden places you can smell it in cabinets. Check out time was 10am and we had maids knocking on the condo door at 9:40 asking when we were leaving so they could clean and then parked their cleaning carts outside our door which made it annoying trying to finish getting our items out. Pros: check in was super easy, virtual check in so you can ent straight to the condo no stop by anywhere to check in smaller condominium so little less people which was nice. Quick beach access made it nice. We took a mommy/daddy trip so we did not have our kids but this set up would be nice with kids. The ac gets super cold which we loved! Beds were very comfortable! Overall it was ok since it was just adults on this trip now if we would have had our kids I would not have been okay with how they cleaned it for sanitary purposes. They might need to look into a new cleaning crew also if your with a tall person who can see the tops of fridges and fans and areas most wouldn’t You might not be very thrilled.

Spring break

I brought my grandchildren to enjoy spring break. We had an absolute magnificent time. The condo was perfect for what we were looking for. It was right on the ocean everything we needed. The staff was impeccable. I would highly recommend this condo and this group of staff for any of your travels.

Pool closed

Could use a little work. Screens ripped. Porch furniture could be replaced. Pool closed for work for 6 weeks. Was a requirement for us. Called island rentals and they were fantastic. Got us in a bigger and better condo next day

Good place to stay

The Tradewins building is being renovated...and it needs it. The 805 unit was clean and in good shape. It offers a really nice view of the ocean. Overall, a good place to stay and it will be even better when the building renovations are completed. The check-in process is virtual and a bit difficult. If you follow the instructions from your computer, you should have no problem.

Disappointing 👎

The complex was going through maintenance while we were there. Windows and railings were taped with blue tape and plastic. There were workers and equipment everywhere, often closing off pathways to either the parking lot or the elevators. The carts to load/unload were too big for the hallways (especially with the tools and equipment lying around). I let the property mgmt company know on day 1 and they said they’d report it to the HOA, but they never got back to us or offered any type of compensation or reparation. The checkin process was a little stressful. They email you the instructions 1 hour before checkin and require you to sign a lengthy contract (12 initials, 2 signatures, send a pic of drivers license, send a selfie, then send a second selfie of us standing in front of the condo door). I mean we did it and everything was fine, but it was pretty stressful especially when we are driving and trying to navigate. Thank goodness we had cell service! The inside of the condo is as described and was clean. The only real complaint is the lack of storage in the kitchen. There’s zero place to put groceries except on the counter. There is a pantry, but it was filled with sand toys so we opted not to store our food there. I’m not a complainer and have never written a review like this but I would never stay here again and would not recommend it.
