Perfect beach home

Everything about this house was perfect. The space, the amenities, the proximity to the beach and many restaurants. There was lots within walking distance. The home itself is perfect for a family.

ALWAYS A GREAT TIME AT THE BEACH.

This has become my home away from home. Everything is so close to this property and is very walkable. They have everything you need at this property. Thank you for some great Beach Memories for u!!!! We will see you again soon.

June 2024 Hook, Wine and Sinker review

Very nice place to stay. Convenient location. Property does need some updates. Front deck has very loose boards. A few fell on our car while we were parked underneath it. Washer makes a lot of noise when washing anything. Back deck could use some new boards as well. Other than that it's a great place to stay

The house is just like the pictures. Great location for beach, shopping, and dining. Would stay at again. I would suggest taking potholders if you are going to cook in the oven. Beds are very comfortable.

Great Place/location

We had a great experience at this location. Everything was as advertised. The only thing I was apprehensive about was the cleanliness of the comforters and pillow shams on the beds. They were not clean.

Would stay here again!

This place was perfect for our spring break trip. The beds were comfy, check in and check out was so easy. Loved that we didn’t have to make it to an office to get keys, makes for a less stressful travel day. Only cons would be the plumbing and security. It’s an older house with dated bathrooms which can be an adjustment but not a major inconvenience. Only one of the exterior doors has a deadbolt. We were safe but definitely this caused some worry at the beginning of our trip. We had everything we needed for a great week at the beach. The speakers and location were by far the best unexpected perks of this property.

Love the location! 2nd time to stay there!

I would have given it five stars, but compared to the last time we stayed there, it wasn't as good as it was the last time. Overall the house is great! The bottom step on the stairs, looks to be rotten on the edge, and the hall bathroom went in an out when you were trying to use the shower. There were some little tiny ants on the counter behind the utensils. Someone called and they sprayed the first day outside, but we just wiped the ants away when we saw them. I like to keep things clean but no broom. I bought one at the dollar store & left for others to use in the closet. We do love the location & would stay again. 😍⛳️🏝️☀️

Great place for a small group

The house is a short walk to the beach, just across the 4 lane street. There is a crosswalk at the intersection. The house delivered as promised on the listing. The beds were comfortable. All the appliances worked. The outside shower was great for rinsing off after a day at the beach. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay. Three things need attention: Refrigerator leaked water into the bottom trays; WiFi was slow and the tv was constantly trying to catch up. There was no lobster pot as was listed on VRBO site. We were going to have a seafood boil and were relying upon the pot being there. However, these are minor and are only listed so that the owner can correct and already excellent place to stay. I would definitely come back!!

🌊 Getaway

Would happily stay here again. Even cuter than the pictures! Comfy beds, great location. The only reason I gave 3 stars on cleanliness was there was a good bit of sand on the DR table and in the master bedroom when we arrived. We actually extended our stay by 3 days!

Family Fun

This house had everything you would need. I truly felt at home. The space in the house was great. The driveway is a plus as we have serval family at different house meet at our rental to park and walk 1 block to the beach. The kids loved the downstairs hang out spot. My family will most definitely rent the house again.

First Time at Gulf Shores

It was our first time at Gulf Shores, everything at the property was as pictured, excellent location, clean. But we only had 8 towels should have had 10 which is the full occupancy, which we had. And only had 2 washrags, and 1 small kitchen towel. We had a broom, but no dustpan. No basic cleaning supplies at all. So you'll need to buy everything from soap, windex, to salt and pepper, etc. Overall happy with our stay mostly minor inconveniences, nice property. We just prefer the beaches East of Pensacola, Navarre, Destin, Miramar etc. The water is a lot clearer, at least during our stay. And more shopping and dining options, in the Destin Area.

Honest Review

First, the location is amazing. You would be hard pressed to find a better spot. Also the layout of the place is nice and roomy, the pics don’t do it justice. However, there are very few accommodating features of the property. You get one trash bag, one packet of dish soap, one roll of toilet paper, etc. So, if you are there for more than one day, you’ll need to buy a ton of supplies. Also, the bed in one of the rooms is awful. Worst bed I’ve slept on in a long time. Lastly, there is zero flexibility with this place. My airline changed my flight and I immediately reached out to this property owner to see if I could get an early check in. Nope. Then I asked to cancel, since I was 29 days away, they were going to charge me 50% of my booking. Then, as luck would have it, my flight home was also delayed so I asked for a late check out and they flat our refused.

Gulf Shores Stay

This house is cute and in a great location. Photos match the real set up. The beds were really comfortable and there's a lot of space. There's also a ton of extra beach chairs. The owners of the property were the only downside, they provided almost nothing (be prepared to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, detergent, dishwasher soap, sponge, laundry soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, hand soap (if you don't like cheap, dry soap bars), salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc). My group of 6 people, staying 3 nights, was only give (1) trash bag, (1) roll of paper towels, (1) roll of toilet paper per bathroom, (1) single use packet of detergent and (1) single use packet of dish soap. For the amount we paid the lack of basic amenities was incredibly strange. They were also SUPER strict on check in and check out times.

Wash away

They only complaint we have is that the house sleeps 10....we were only given 8 bath towels and 4 wash cloths. We purchased more and left them.
