Footprints in the Sand is a Gulf Front/ full Gulf view condo. In Gulf Shores, Alabama

This is a wonderful condo featuring 2 Master Bedrooms with full bathrooms that has been recently renovated. This is a beach front/Gulf view condo with a full balcony overlooking the water. The living room and master bedroom both look out over the Gulf also. Islands Winds East is located right next to The Hangout and is the largest model of 2 bedrooms in this complex. It is in a prime location, in walking distance to restaurants, shopping and activities, not to mention being directly on the beach/Gulf Front. Not only do you have a view, but you have an extra long balcony where you can sit, relax, eat, enjoy the sunset, read, spend time drinking wine with your love or hanging out with your kids. If your children are old enough to go to the beach or pool by themselves, you can view them directly from your balcony. Beautiful Gulf Front view from the master bedroom as well. This condo features 2 full size bathrooms, a washer/dryer, full kitchen with seating for 4-6 and much more. Linens and towels are supplied for you, you need only bring your swimsuit, POOL/BEACH TOWELS, and your food. This 'Your Home Away From Home' condo is just that, a place where you can come and not need a 'vacation after the vacation' because you will be relaxed after spending your time here. We have 6 cabins and 3 units within a large cabin in Pigeon Forge that are all for rent as well. VRBO# 2609521 The Vieux & #7565732 The Duck & Turtle Pond. The others are rented out on our own website. Contact me for information about them. Most of the reviews that you see here are from our cabin called Bear Necessities that we just sold (exchanging that Vrbo # for this condo).

There is a $50 parking fee that guests will need to purchase upon arrival for their vehicle. This is purchased at the Office and is a fee that almost every condo in Gulf Shores charges. We do not get this money, the HOA does.

We have 9 properties all together listed on VRBO. The others are ALL on the same 12 acres in Pigeon Forge like Kissing the Clouds. We have a Destination Wedding Venue as well. When you rent The Vieux #2609521 for at least 2 nights, you can use the Wedding Venue for free and have the reception at The Vieux. Here are out other properties in Pigeon Forge.

Absolutely perfect location and view. The owner is extremely accommodating and friendly, and there is nothing you'll need that isn't within a 3-minute walk. We will be back, and back, and back for sure.

Fantastic Property with Amazing Location

Everything about this property was wonderful! The location can’t be beat! It’s on the beach and walking distance to a lot of stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. The property was very clean, kitchen well stocked with dishes and utensils for cooking, comfortable beds, great balcony overlooking the ocean. The host/owner was super responsive before and during our stay.

Location!

Perfect location. Perfect space. Ideal host. We enjoyed it so much we booked again for same time next year. Kathryn was great helping us check-in, communicating while we were there and even checking on how our DD's volleyball went. Our friends booked another unit in this complex after seeing and hearing about ours. Thank you for a great experience all around and being a great host. See you next year!

It was quiet and cozy, just what we were looking for. The back porch overlooking the mountains was breathtaking. Spent most of our time relaxing in the hot tub! Overall, just what we needed for a weekend getaway.

We come for the Shrimp Festival every October. This is our 2nd year staying in this condo. Perfect location & walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Communication with owner was great!

Spectacular views!

Great cabin with a Stunning View!

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in mid-November. The cabin was exactly as stated. Clean, cozy, very well maintained, with all the needed amenities. The view was really stunning, both day and night. The hot tub was well maintained, and great for viewing the lights of Pigeon Forge in the evening. Coordination for arrival and departure worked great. Would definitely return and recommend to friends!

Amazing Cabin, Amazing Views, Amazing Location

Everything about this cabin was better than expected. Having stayed in numerous cabins in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg/Sevierville/Townsend area, this one is BY FAR the best. Everything from the cabin's architecture to the newly renovated amenities were perfect and to be honest, the pictures of the views from the deck don't do it justice. Waking up in the loft from the sun shining through the huge, beautiful windows was a great way to start each day.

A sunrise lovers dream!!!!

We were celebrating our anniversary and like to rent cabins with great views and secluded...., The Vieux was perfect. Great views and quiet. The cabin was very clean and decorated perfectly. The Tanner's are great owners and easy to work with. We stay in the mountains anywhere from 2-6 times a year, with very few times wanting to stay in a cabin again. The VIEUX is one that we will come back to.

Great location. Cabin was clean and cute. Owner was easy to get in touch with. However the water had a very strong sulfur smell. We cut our trip short because of it. I would not stay here again.

Unbelievably beautiful

Even though we arrived after dark we didn’t get to see the beautiful mountains that were were all around. The next day we woke up to a beautiful sunrise. We were in awe about the view we had from our deck and porch. We had 2 wonderful nights and 3 days to take in all the beauty of this cabin. Owners are very easy to work with and I want to give them a shout out and say Thank You for your hospitality.

I've stayed in the Pigeon Forge area for many years and many different cabins I'm 58 years old I have never written a review on any cabin but felt compelled to do so for the veaux truly amazing view from the back porch very clean, easy access,Catherine was great to work with no issues whatsoever would highly recommend this property Thank you Katherine for a wonderful time look forward to coming back. Fabulous weekend

We all really enjoyed our stay at bear necessities. Wish it could have been longer. There were 9 adults Plenty of room for all of us. Hot tub was great (heated and ready when we arrived). Plenty of bedding etc.the kitchen was well stocked with essentials which was a bonus. Kathryn was a pleasure to deal with, always responded quickly and was really helpful with all queries. I would love to go back and would recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing break in the woods. Also Great location near pigeon Forge and Dollywood.

Truly the best view!

We looked at many different places and had many to chose from but this place was the best! I can't explain enough about the view. It's breathtaking! Whether you're watching the beautiful sunrise, sunset, or relaxing in the hot tub looking up at the moon. The cabin is not too far from the strip (which we loved). Gives you that piece and quit for a true relaxing vacation. It's also super spacious so with only being a 1 bedroom plus loft it felt so much bigger. 100% recommend this place! Not only is it a great place but Kathryn and Wendell were wonderful to work with. Great customer service and made our trip feel important to them.

Adorable cabin

The cabin was really nice and served our group well. We misunderstood that we were not supposed to use GPS and use the mapquest directions sent. We thought it was a suggestion if we needed it, therefore we spent a lot of time lost with the GPS. Once we called the owner we got on track. However, the house number was not visible from the road and we still passed it. It was dark and rainy which made the process more frustrating.

Great location but not room for 11 people

We had two adults and 6 preteens. Vacay worked out fine but cabin definitely not big enough for 11. We had 8 and tight fit. Beds are doubles so tight for two people. No room for trundle bed to be pulled out in the room and futon a one person futon. Additionally several housekeeping items needs to addressed. Glad I brought several pots and pans from home because most sratchef beyond being safe to use. Location is convenient to Dollywood and pigeon forge. Only two showers and one in master bedroom so hate to have others going thru someone’s room to use. Great cabin for family of 4 or 5.
