Swimmers, beach-goers, and sun-loving families will feel right at home at this 5 Little Shells, a 2,650-square-foot Gulf Shores home with a multi-level deck, a nearby boardwalk that leads to the beach, and incredible shared amenities.

Guests will have access to six outdoor pools and two outdoor hot tubs on the Gulf Shores Plantation grounds, plus one indoor pool.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Property is "okay"

The house was just "okay." The location to the pool and hot tub was great. Location to beach is a short walk. The space of the house and layout was wonderful, plenty of space for everyone without being on top of each other. The decks were so nice and really enjoyed them. My biggest complaint was the cleanliness, especially during covid-19. Bathrooms were dirty, kitchen appliances were dirty, walls had food and dirt everyone little hands could touch. Washer knob was broken, back staircase banister was broken. Nothing to serious. I would rent here again, just hope owner gets a better housekeeper.

Such a fun time!

This is our second visit to Gulf Shores Plantation, but our first time staying at a beach house. This was such great space for 5 adults and 4 kids. We had lots of room to spread out and relax. The beds were all super comfortable,. We loved all of the deck space that was available. The house has a few issues that will hopefully be repaired under the new owner. The railing on the back staircase was loose, a lot of the available beach toys were broken, and the dial on the washing machine was broken.

Nice location and property

The property was nice showed a little age and damage as many rentals probably do. Nothing too terrible. The beds were comfy and the rental was a good size. We enjoyed sitting out during the evening and enjoyed the indoor pool on the property. Being so close to the beach is by far the best part of this rental. Would stay here again. The only downside was that the first day we were there we were not allowed early admittance because of some repair, but then after we checked in the cleaning crew came by to do some cleaning and then the property manager requested to show the property as it was for sale. Seems like these items could have been taken care of prior to us checking in since checkin was at 3 or 4pm.

Beach vacation for 12

The size of this house is great for a large group. Plenty of room for Everyone to sleep and be comfortable. Location was close enough to the beach and right across from the pool. We appreciated the sand toys, beach equipment. Things this house lacked that I am used to at every other vacation rental house we’ve ever stayed at is the amenities provided. Most pillows didn’t have pillow cases, there were no extra sheets for the pull out bed, no beach towels, extra trash bags, not enough plates/ bowls for our group. It’s nice to go to a vacation home and have salt and pepper in the kitchen. Or pan spray. Things that you don’t bring with you or want to necessarily go out and purchase. Of course that’s not a requirement but I’ve never stayed at a vacation rental home that didn’t have everything you can think of, such as those items. The house is for sale and it seems like it’s just made pretty bare for that purpose. I would stay again but am glad I’m more aware for next time!

Would Stay Again, needs updating.

Upon arrival the guards did not know which house it was so it was just a little hectic to just get to the house. Loved the quiet location. Beaches were nice, pool and hot tub were clean, boardwalk was nice. House steps coming into main entrance are slick so just watch your step. Couple floor tiles were cracked, needs cobwebs knocked down, kitchen appliances need updating or replaced completely. Example: blender and vacuum had paper signs saying “does not work, gears are stripped.” Bathrooms were clean, all TVs worked, internet worked great for 10 people. Showers are very small width and height wise. 5 foot tall female and the shower head in master bathroom hits me in the chest it’s so short. Overall 4 stars in my book. Would def stay here again. Great for a group bachelor/bachelorette/friends trip.

We couldn’t get into the home initially for about 30 minutes. We called the 1800 but to no avail

Great home, needs a little updating and definitely work on cleanliness we found hairs everywhere and couldn’t get into the home initially for about 40 minutes. We called the 1800 number and they were supposed to send out maintenance but they never showed. We ended up finding an unlocked door in the back and that’s the only way we got in. Needless to stay someone had to stay at all times so that we could protect the home and our belongings which caused them to kiss certain events

Love this complex

This unit is nice and well equipped. If you are not able to climb stairs--do not lol at this unit. Stairs are steep at the entrance and inside. Two Queen bedrooms upstairs could use updated mattresses. No beach view. There are housekeeping issues which I will address with Mandokhi Hospitality.
