Couples and small families alike will love exploring the Gulf Highlands from the comfort of this Gulf Shores plantation suite, featuring a shared pool, a great location near local sights, and easy access to the beach.

Soft white sands and warm Gulf waves are steps away, along with the fresh food of the Sassy Bass Grill. Hop in the car, and Gulf Shores' shopping and dining are a 15-mile drive away. Nine miles westward is Fort Morgan's beaches and boardwalks, as well as access to Dauphin Island via the Mobile Bay Ferry.

Things to know:
Guests will have access to six outdoor pools on the Gulf Shores Plantation grounds plus one indoor pool, and sauna in the Dome Area of Bldg 4.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 3.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The condo had a beautiful view of the gulf. We enjoyed watching both the sunrise and sunsets from the balcony. The kitchen had a new stove, microwave, and countertops but could use some stocking of new dishes. The pans were few and very scratched. They did have new floors in the living room as well.

My son, granddaughter and I enjoyed our stay in this simply designed and stocked condo environment. The listing was true to its pictures and amenities. The pull out sleeper sofa mattress was very uncomfortable, which led to a rating of 4.0 instead of a 5.0. This resort was quiet,family friendly and had dining options within walking distance or a short drive. The best part of our experience was the view from our balcony, swimming in the pool which has water levels from 1-5 feet to accommodate different swimming abilities and spending hours on the beach. I would definitely return to this Fort Morgan area in the future!

Will never stay at this place again it's not safe here.

Checked in on April 23rd 2024. We stayed in 3302. Construction on the units around our unit. Ours was supposed to be completed by 4/19/24. As we arrived at the beach i turned around and looked and a painter had accessed our balcony from jlg man lift and was walking around on our balcony. I called vacasa even sent photos via txt...i saved the txt messages where photos were sent. Plantation east property manager Checked our condo for damages, everything Checked out ok. No problems noted. April 26 2024 one of the Construction crew unlawfully entered the condo we were paying for while we were inside!!!!! I stopped him at the bathroom area and asked if there was something I could help him with. He just stood there looking confused. So i asked again....he said sorry wrong condo. This should never happen!!!! We packed up and left a day early because of this. Vacasa offered to file for a complete refund. I stated i didn't want a complete refund. Just refund for the day we didn't use. I waited for the response from vacasa before leaving my reviews. The response stated basically that nobody was on our balcony or in our condo. I DO NOT RECOMMEND VACASA OR THIS PLANTATION EAST TO ANYONE!!!! Go somewhere else!!!! I've never delt with a more non professional group in my life. They called me a liar in their response email. Best part is i have photo evidence to back everything up. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VACASA OR PLANTATION EAST! Big disappointment.

Only really great thing about our stay was the beach view - otherwise would not recommend. Received an early checkin text but get there and cannot get in - lock battery was dead. Waited an hour and half to get in (guy was super nice) Furniture was old and uncomfortable. Smelled like a dead mouse the entire time(had to buy air fresheners to tolerate stay. Need black out curtains for bedroom (light outside our room stayed on all night and blared through closed blinds. Not a great beach getaway

Just left this condo on 5/18/22 the condo it’s self was perfect the view was amazing and it was very clean. The only bad thing I can say is there wasn’t much to cook with so cooking was very limited and the bed was horrible. The bed was so hard I was up every morning by 6am if not before then with a horrible back ache. My husband and I had a back ache our entire stay. So I would definitely update the mattress on this bed also when I booked this room it advertised a hot tub but there is no hot tub at all. That’s not a big deal but shouldn’t be advertised. I would definitely be back as long as the mattress in this property is updated

Property nice. Clean except tub was awful dirty. Dirty sheets in hall closet. Listening said had blow dryer and blender, not true. Fry pans (1 small 1 large) both had scratches inside them. Nothing to be upset about just wish had what was needed. We would return loved staying at property. Something that needs to be done is bedroom window needs better covering, the light in hallway make's bedroom like daylight at night.

We had a lot of issues with our rental.

We had a lot of issues with our rental.On the day before we were set to leave someone came and banged on the door at 9:30 and said that we were supposed to be out. And when I told her that we had another day rented she looked down at her phone and just basically walked away without an apology or even acknowledging the mistake. And on our final day someone from a neighboring property broke out the back window of one of our guest cars in the rental. We filed a police report and gave a statement to security at plantation. I gave this feedback to vacasa but I’ve yet to hear back from anyone after repeated calls and emails.
