long weekend

Nice beach and pools. Quiet area. All was good except need washer and dryer because cannot hang clothes out after swimming. Beach warning flags not changed according to weather. Providing more toilet paper, starter roll of paper towels, ice cubes, and some condiments would have made stay easier. Would return!

Family Vacation

This was our second time renting this unit. It’s perfect and such a short distance from the beach, pool and hot tubs. The kids played basketball as well. Just like last year we all had the best time ever!

Spring Break

Good experience overall with some minor issues. The TV remotes in the kids room would not work with the TV, which made that TV unusable. There were no dish towels in the place. The upstairs king bed frame was broken. The cable stations were very spotty and would come in and out. Lastly, the coffee maker does not have the correct pot and therefore doesn't work well. However, the unit was clean and fit expectations.

Family Beach Vacation

We had a total of 4 adults and 3 children staying. The house is in a great spot, super close walk to the beach and pool. It had plenty of beds and room for everyone to sleep. Love the double balconies and the kitchen amenities and washer/dryer were so convenient for our stay. The house could use some TLC in certain areas like spots on the bathroom ceilings and worn carpet, etc. However these are easy to overlook and I think it’s priced fair based on the condition. One thing to note is if traveling with toddlers beware of the heavy ceramic toilet seats. They are very heavy and shut very hard and fast. We had an incident with our 3 year old son that ended with a late night trip to the emergency room because of this. 😖

Gulf Highlands Beach Gulf Shores / Fort Morgan

Especially convenient to beach and pool, plenty spacious, nice furnishings lots of drawers, good amount of towels, appreciate bathroom on both floors, Smart TV. There is an Indoor pool/ Amenity Pass in Unit. Dollar store close by bring dishwashing soaps, cooking spices, coffee supplies/ left some filters for other guest. Always recommend extra toilet paper and non glass drink ware for beach and pool.

Great Family Retreat in Fort Morgan

The property was a perfect place for our little family with two young ones. The outdoor pools and surrounding property were well maintained. Our only major critique would be that there was some construction happening while we were there on the building with the dome pool and the house next door. It would have been nice to have been notified of this, though I understand the property manager could do little about this. There were two rainy days during our stay and we did not have access to any of the indoor pools. There were wristbands that were required that were missing in our property and the key card to enter the indoor pool in the small brown building was not working. This area could benefit from some more restaurants or cafes on the property l. Over all we loved our stay and only hope that this area of Fort Morgan continues to thrive for years to come. We definitely plan on returning to this spot. It was a source of so many amazing memories.

Wow definitely rent again!!

This property had everything you needed for your stay including fans. Which weren't needed because the air works great. Very clean and stocked with enough linens. Great proximity to the beach and pool. I will definitely rent again.

Nice home!

This house is beautiful and is right on the beach! There are a few things that need updated, like the toaster that didn’t work and then the balcony on the first floor, a lot of the spindles are barley hanging on which is a huge safety hazard, we couldn’t let my one year old out on it because we feared she could fall off, and if you are going to bring a little one, bring a baby gate if they can climb stairs! You’ll need it! Overall I would rate this place a 8 out of 10. If they fix those small flaws it would be a 10 for sure.

Paradise House

This property was perfect for us with very short walk to the beach or pool. We enjoyed the patio space beneath the house. Our only problem was ants - so bad that we had to have the house sprayed twice while we were there and then they still weren’t gone. The ants were some type that flew and were in our beds, bathrooms, kitchens. Everything was great except for the ants!

Amazing cottage

We loved this beach vacation. Most of our likes came from the location and this rental. We have a young family and the kids had so much freedom and fun. The duplex is located right across from one of the pools. It was easy to walk back and forth if we forgot items. The beach access is a super short walk compared to most condos and beach vacation spots. It was not crowded at all. The rooms were large and clean. There was plenty of space. Every appliance worked as needed. We washed many loads of clothes and towels while there. We will be revisiting this location.

Perfect for Two Families, Really Close to the Beach

We were two families with eight people in total. We visited as the Covid-19 crisis was starting to ramp up. We booked the house last minute when our initial plans were canceled. The home was perfect for our two families, three bedrooms and two bathrooms and a very comfortable living room. This house is close to the boardwalk to access the beach and two of the pools. The beach is GORGEOUS! Instead of bringing a lot of gear, the house has beach chairs, boogie boards, and buckets and shovels available. The house was clean (although it's challenging to get rid of ALL of the sand). The living room was comfortable for the family; our two boys slept on a very large sectional and slept soundly. We stayed in Unit B, and the two decks had great views. The house is equipped with the dishes, cookware, serving utensils, etc. you may need in the kitchen. When they tell you to bring condiments, you need to include spices like salt, pepper, etc. There are a couple of mini-grocery stores close by and a larger grocery store about 15-20 minutes away in Gulf Shores proper. During our visit, the Covid-19 closures started, and the property managers were really on top of the ever-evolving changes to the tourist scene. They reached out both via email and text and were very open to our questions, willing to help if we felt the need to change our stay. Overall, we will return to the Plantation, especially this home. And we will feel very comfortable renting from iTrip at other locations around the country. Thank you for a great vacation!

Bug Infested

It was absolutely Horrific! We paid good money to stay here. Two days after arriving we were in infested with flying ants. They were in the Windows, Bed, and getting in the food on the stove. My mom couldn't even use her phone because they would swarm the light. The couch was covered in sand. We wonder if they had even bothered to clean the house before we arrived or just remade the beds and left. The only plus is staying at the plantation. Do NOT reserve a house with itrip! If I could post pictures of the bugs I would so everyone would see. There are plenty of houses to rent on the plantation and our family recommends that you rent one of them!!!
