Fishing and fun at Fort Sun

Everything was great. We enjoyed our time and appreciate how smooth everything was. Caught a ton of fish out on the beach right in front of the house too. Quite a bit of pompano, whiting, and blue runners. Thanks for the hospitality!

Great for big families

Listing and pictures very accurate. Right on the beach, 7 bedrooms, wading pool ideal for toddlers and kids.Kitchen not well laid out but 2 refrigerators and enough utensils for an army. We liked it.

Another great stay!

Fort Sun was as described and was a great fit for our extended family. Plenty of room. Views were awesome and the beach is a short walk right off the back of the house. The owners are kind and easy to communicate with--we have stayed in several of their places! Highly recommend!

The Best Family Vacay!

We loved being right on the beach. The view of the ocean and especially the sunrise was awesome! The private pool was definitely a plus! I bought an inflatable volleyball net and it was "let the games begin!" Lots of fun with the grands and greatgrands.

Absolutely loved the house and the location

We absolutely loved the house and the location. We were three families coming together for our annual vacation, with ages from 2 to 60, and it accommodated us all very well. We arrived a little early and knew we would have to hang out downstairs while they finished cleaning. The cleaning staff were very nice and did a great job. It was a great place to stay and we will definitely keep it on our list.

Thanksgiving Fort Sun FUN!!

Thanksgiving with our adult kids and grands--the whole gang! So nice being right on the beach. Fort Sun was perfect for us. Lots of stairs, but that's to be expected in a beach house. The beach was so BIG and wide open. We liked being able to set up tents (and leave them up). Overall, a great stay!

Amazing vacation!!

This duplex is made for our extended family. There is a door that connects the two units, Fort Sun East and West. That allowed us privacy with easy accessibility to our cousins. We loved all the bathrooms and bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, and two refrigerators was very nice. Property manager was easy to contact. We have already booked for next year!!

Very enjoyable vacation at Fort Sun

Our stay in your beach house was overall very enjoyable. We loved the easy beach access and enjoyed the pool. We also loved that we didn't have to worry about putting the trash cans on the road, and that we didn't have to do much cleaning up to leave. We were a little dismayed that access to two of the bedrooms was only through other bedrooms. We worked it out, but I can imagine that for some families this could be a problem. Again, overall a very enjoyable vacation. Thanks!

Great Beachfront House

The house was exactly what we expected based on the listing! Super nice to be right on the beach and the Fort Morgan area has a very nice and relaxed feel to it. The kids loved the pool but it was a little small for all 19 of us (we knew it would be small based on pictures though). The local company was quick to respond to texts about needed items in the kitchen and brought them the next morning. Check in was super easy. Lots of emails and communication that was helpful. Fort Morgan is kind of in the boonies (30 minute drive to Gulf Shores from Fort Sun) but makes the beach less crowded. We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful beach, place, and stay

Thank you so much for a wonderful week! This beach is beautiful!I meant to email you earlier in the week but it slipped my mind. We wanted to let you know the garbage disposal did not work which caused the sink to back up. We plunged it and it went down but wanted to let you know. One of the bed supports in the bunk room was broke too. The kids didn't tell us until we were getting ready to leave. Again, thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

Large Group 👍

The place had plenty of rooms for the five families that stayed with children ranging from 2-18. The master bedroom on the third floor only had a jet tub which wasn’t convenient for the family who stayed in that room. The other bathrooms all had shower/tub combos. The beach area was clean and was easily assessed from the home being just steps away. The pool is on the small side but worked great for the kiddos or to jump into to cool off from being at the beach. It was great having two refrigerators but the door shelves did fall out easily. There was plenty of seating for everyone at dinner time with the bar and two tables. The outside patio furniture was in great shape and was good quality. Overall, we had a great stay with no problems to reports to the property manager.
