    The Space:

    Less than four miles west of State Route 59 in Gulf Shores is the spacious and beautiful Windswept house. With more than 4,300 square feet of living space spread out over three levels, this six-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bath house is just the right size for family reunions, groups of friends getting together, corporate retreats, and more. Featuring a screened-in porch on the front of the house, a private pool, and ample balcony space overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, Windswept has all the amenities you could want for your crew's comfort, including a private grill, an outdoor shower, and private baths in all the bedrooms, plus balconies overlooking the Gulf. There are two living rooms in case anyone would like to watch something different on TV. And, there are eight flatscreen Smart TVs throughout the house. Four bedroom suites on the third level overlook the Gulf, and two come with Jacuzzi-style tubs in their private baths. Two ice machines make keeping drinks cold a breeze, while two sets of washers and dryers will help you quickly cycle through your laundry. The kitchen is built for efficiency and convenience, with two dishwashers, two refrigerators, two eat-in bar areas, lots of counter space, and plenty of cabinets.

Very enjoyable

Pretty place with modern conveniences and large enough for all 12 of us adults. The 6 bedrooms with each having a bathroom was perfect for us. Beach was right outside our house! Beautiful view. We did not use the pool as it was not heated 😌 (the weather was chilly), the bbq grill did not work which was a disappointment as we brought steaks to grill, but overall a really good stay.

Family Beach Vacation 2023

The house was everything we needed it to be for our family of 16 ( 10 adults and 6 children.). Loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom and the kitchen was well stocked and had 2 refrigerators, 2 ice machines, 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers and 2 ovens. Loved that it had an enclosed pool, big outside deck area, and very short walk to the beach! Any minor problems were addressed immediately!

Ladies Weekend

Had great stay with 5 friends. House is spacious and well appointed. Kitchen is very well stocked with 2 refrigerators, 2 ice makers and coffee makers, and lots of glasses, dishes and flatware. Beds, pillows and linens were all very comfortable, Duvet covers appeared to have been washed for our stay. Back deck has plenty of chairs, lounges and two tables with chairs. Elevator was a huge plus for our group of mature ladies, with plenty of parking under the house.. We will be going back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I only have 2 small complaints…1) the elevator was out of service 2) the sheets on our bed were too small and would not stay on. It was very uncomfortable at night because the fitted sheet would come off and wrinkle up. They need to get sheets that fit a king size bed! This was in the bedroom off to the right of the kitchen, by the dining table.

Perfect place for a family vacation

This house was everything we wanted for our summer family vacation. First, the location is great. It’s far from the giant condominiums so the beach is practically private. Next, the house was enormous and fit our needs perfectly, with room to grow. Every bedroom has a bathroom, which you will not find many places. The pool was small but perfect for breaks from the beach. Multiple refrigerators, ice makers, dishwashers and laundry areas made things very easy as well. This place is bookmarked for future summers for sure. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed.

AMAZING HOUSE AND VIEW!!!

This house was AMAZING! It worked out so well with our family having four master suites facing the beach! What a view to wake up to every morning to look out and see the ocean! The amenities of this house were wonderful!! The spacious kitchen was phenomenal and very well equipped. To have two refrigerators/freezers, two dishwashers, two ice making machines and two washers and dryers suited our family perfectly! This was our first trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama. We loved our week here celebrating our 50th anniversary with all of our family!!

Great property! Beach access on property. Maybe a 200 ft from house to water.

6 bedrooms. Great! 61/2 bathrooms. Great. Plenty of room for everyone. But the best is 4 air conditioning units!!! Everyone is Comfortable in there own bedrooms. No climate controls!!!!!!! Climate controls are why I no longer stay at any condo. We will be back next year!!

Huge Home

This has the potential to be a beautiful home. Let me say that the house is huge and accommodated our family well. Overall maintenance on the home is lacking. Light bulbs that were burned out and not replaced, plugs that didn’t work on one wall of the home, bench in the shower was broken, lots of outside fixtures were corroded and there was a hole in the wall as you came in the front door. Once again the set up of bathrooms and bedrooms is great.

Perfect for us!

We loved staying at this house! We had a group of 4 families that came for spring break, so the 4 master bedrooms for each of the adults was perfect. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, plenty of parking space and space for our 4 big vehicles to turn around. The beach was beautiful and private, so we always had a spot to sit. Location was GREAT, right on the beach which made it very convenient for kids to run back and forth for snacks and bathroom breaks; far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown to be relaxing, but close enough to be able to run and get groceries or do something fun. We had a few pieces of trash the cleaning people missed and a couple of broken door handles when we arrived, but they came to fix them the next day and that went very smoothly. The only downside for us was having to leave!

50th Birthday Beach Bash

When we first arrived, we had a few issues, but the Vacasa Team took care of all of them very quickly. The house is great! It's spacious enough that people can do their own thing. Having a full bath in each room is such a plus. The beach access is the best! The pool could be a little bigger, but it served its purpose. I would book this house again, and I will recommend it to others.

Overall a great place!

Great place for a large group. I love that everyone had their own bathroom. The pool is small but it worked well when the little ones got tired of the sand. The BBQ grill was nice to have as well. A few recommendations: more dish rags and kitchen towels and the showers could use a good scrubbing. 17K for the week and I don’t want to see mildew in the showers.

House was as described. Kids loved the pool, adults enjoyed the deck.

House layout was awesome, easily accommodated four generations of family. Great huge deck and beach access. However, had no Wi-Fi 95% of our entire stay which meant no streaming TV and no online computer access. One dishwasher was broken…maintenance was unable to repair during our stay and could do nothing about Wi-Fi.

Charming Beach House

Overall very nice and I would stay here again! Love the layout and very close to the beach, wonderful decks! Pool is small but works fine. Carpet is worn and housekeeping left dirty towels in one bathroom, otherwise I would have rated this property excellent. Even so, I highly recommend this property.
