Great view
Property was very close to everything we wanted to do. House was spacious, clean, and well equipped. Fenced yard was great for our dog. The Mardi Gras parade on the street in front of the house was an added bonus. Watching the ships in gulf waters was relaxing. Contact with owner was easy. Would highly recommend if going to the coast. We will stay again if going to Gulfport.

Comfortable, clean, convenient, air conditioning worked well. (Maybe host could spend $7-$10 to stock 2-3 extra garbage bags, extra paper towels, 2 rolls toilet paper each bathroom - and maybe a writing pen)

Great host, great property, close to all attractions and food. Property is nested in a quit community with great neighbors walking distance to beach makes late night couple walks amazing. Will definitely be back for another stay.

Close to the beach! Fun restaurants, ship island was fun (just really windy the day we went) And shes not kidding about 1 toilet paper, 1 paper towel, and 1 trash bag. I guess thats where the line is drawn Dont go to the "saver" whatever grocery its a joke, the good one was rooses or something like that

Perfect location
We came for Mardi Gras and visit with family and friends. Because we lived on the coast before, we knew the area. An extra bonus was a small parade right down the street. The house felt like home. The living room had comfortable group seating for long overdue conversations with family. The kitchen had all we needed but the coast has so many great restaurants to enjoy. We would love to return.

Nice cottage close to the beach!
This cottage is cute as can be and in a pretty nice neighborhood close to the beach. An easy drive to Mobile to the East or New Orleans to the West made day trips fun. If you stay in colder weather you may find the heat pump doesn't keep you as comfortable as a forced furnace, but that's just our personal preference. We would definitely book this property again!

Wonderful house little house close to the beach
The property is very well kept. I loved the fenced area outside. That was perfect for our little dog. The orange tree in the back yard produces very tasty fruit! The inside of the house is very nice. Plenty of room for me and my family. The layout is roomy. You can see the water out the front windows, which was a beautiful site. Just a short stroll over to the beach. The claw foot bathtub and shower stall in the master suite was spectacular!!! Unfortunately it was cooler weather when we were there and didn’t get to try out the soaking tub on the back porch. The only things I thought were a negative is trying to get across the highway to get to the beach was a bit tricky if you walk over. There are no stop lights or crossings and it is a 4 lane highway. If driving over there are plenty of spots for parking. The other thing was the house is rather close to a train track. It sounds like the train is going to come through the house. Very loud and they run all throughout the day and night. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Our favorite rental yet
The photos of this property do not do the home justice. There was more than enough room for everyone to have their own space (myself, my husband, and our kids ages 15, 10, 8, and 3). It was very clean and well stocked. You're a short 5-10 minute drive to nearly anything you need. The bathroom in the front bedroom is the thing of every girl's dream! There are lovely little touches throughout the property, such as the hopscotch stepping stones by the back porch. Truly a remarkable place to stay for the whole family.

Good Sleeping!
We loved the location and having local family come over, with plenty of seating to chat. Also, the black out curtains in the front bedroom were terrific for good sleeping! The back door is through a bedroom, which we did not realize from the photos.

A Good Time was had by All
We enjoyed our stay at this property. We visited Gulfport to celebrate the 10th birthday of our twin grandsons. The house has charming architectural details that I loved and there was plenty of space for 2 boys to spread out. It was clean and adequate for our needs. We had a couple of questions and Donna was very responsive. This is a wonderful property for couples traveling together, for a girlfriends trip or for families with children. The location is perfect. The beach is visible from the front yard. We hope to return one day.

We stayed here with our two little pups, it had a great fenced yard! Excellent location, Convenient to many attractions and restaurants Host was easy to communicate with and directions for entry and end of stay, were easily followed Beach house was spacious and had everything that we needed. We would definitely recommend this place, as we had a great experience in this beautiful beach home!

Conference trip became Family vacay
Vrbo entry looked perfect and was just what we needed. Had 2 adults drop out, so lots of room. The dogs loved the fenced yard. So close to the beach and had very few other beachgoers. If you have small kids, this beach is very shallow, even at high tide. They loved it.

Spacious clean convenient beach rental
One block from uncrowded beaches, this home is immaculate and very spacious with three bedrooms. The large living and dining space has plenty of room to spread out and enjoy sitting by by yourself at the window or with friends watching tv or playing cards together. Owner’s bathroom is large and spacious, and second bathroom well placed for sharing between the two other bedrooms. Well supplied kitchen also big enough for 2-3 people to work in together. Beautiful front and back yard- both fully fenced so our small dog was happy and safe. Great neighborhood for walking. We had three couples stay here very comfortably and I would happily stay here again with friends or family.

Perfect for families of teens and small kids
We had 2 families traveling for High School Competition. 3 teenagers and am 8 year old, 4 adults. There was plenty of room for everyone. We also brought our 2 furbabies and they enjoyed the fenced in yard and being able to play outdoors without worry of them escaping. Location was great for us. We enjoyed walking to the park and a shirt drive to the coffee shop. Would stay here again!

Felt like home
First time we have ever planned a 3 wk vacation anywhere and thank goodness we chose the cottage. Felt so much like home with very comfortable beds, full size kitchen, and plenty of space for us and occasional visitors. The seafood on the gulf coast is the best and we were only 2 miles from Bens Deli for the best PoBoy around. We look forward to our next trip to Gulfport and the “Cottage “. This house was just as described and pictured. Super roomy! Literally 2-3 minute walk to the beach, if that. Great little private backyard. Plenty of dining options in Gulfport and short drive to Biloxi. One hour and twenty minute drive to the French Quarter. We really enjoyed our stay!

Our Holiday home
This was our second stay at the Historic second street cottage. It’s cozy, great location for walking, near our Daughter’s home, and a perfect place for Holiday dinners and gathering. We’re homebodies at heart so we use the kitchen constantly making Family meals and baking special treats. Wonderful!

Quick Trip to Gulfport
This home was perfect. My 2 daughters & I arrived late & there was a mixup with the alarm code (it was invalid & the alarm went off). I called the local contact & left a message but the alarm turned off (found out later the owner turned it off remotely). No other problems during the stay. The house is much larger than it appears in the pictures. There are comfy beds & lots of extra linens & blankets. The kitchen is very large & stocked with anything you might need. There’s a drip coffeemaker, microwave, gas cooktop & oven & dishwasher. (One of my favorite things was the claw foot tub.)
