“They should not put anyone in rooms next to the stairways unless you like bone jarring door slamming at all hours of the night and day. ”

“The room appeared to be clean. The sheet on one bed did not appear to be fresh. The first night was extremely noisy from loud music overhead until about 1:30a.m. The second night the noise came from the room next door until about 9:00p.m. (acceptable). The towels were freshened on the 2nd day, but new cups were not provided (no tea for me) . I would have used one of the old cups except some type of winged bug was crawling in it.”

“The pool wasnt open . People have to take in effect we are in Global Warming - Climate Change......”

“My family of 6 really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was as advertised and no fuss with anything. The area was peaceful and quiet and would definitely recommend this place if that is what you’re looking for.”

“Cateechee offers old southern charm. Although we did not play their course, from what we could see the greens looked beautiful and well maintained. The staff was pleasant and their rooms comfortable. ”

“This 2 bed 1.5 bath is a perfect place to relax, kayak, fish or just enjoy beautiful Lake Hartwell. The kitchen is well equipped, there are 2 big screen TVs and an ample deck looking over the lake. Downstairs is a Ping Pong table we spent a lot of time on. Nice little walk way down to the lake. Kayaks are provided. We will be back.”

“After having a tree fall on our house we rented this great tiny house. The owners and their families were so kind and easy to work with. The tiny house was perfect with full bed and bunk beds in addition to a usable kitchen with refrigerator, toaster oven coffee pot and microwave. The setting for the little house was great - 40 acres of beautiful pasture land. Saw beautiful herons every day-what a spectacle!! The have a large building called the Lodge with games, corn hole and table for……

“The property is very clean, comfortable and cute. The amenities coming with the house are great. Host is very attentive to details and makes you feel at home. ”

“This property has a great setup and is well-stocked. We loved having a per-friendly spot on the lake for our little thanksgiving getaway. The heat/hvac worked great, satellite tv and the WiFi also worked perfectly. Plenty of hot water for showers and there’s a washer dryer available too. The area is very nice and I highly recommend Tugaloo State park just a few miles away- they have a beautiful 4 mile loop hiking trail! We also walked the Hartwell dam (very nice paved walk about 2.5 miles out……

“We really enjoyed our time together as a family. From the fully stocked kitchen (you could cook a feast) to the great game room, surround sound, and plenty of little extra's. Two drawbacks...the cheap, very hard couches, and all of the little "don't do" signs hanging around the house!”

“The Hartwell House property was a true delight to stay in, this home was squeaky clean in every room , tastefully decorated with 3 very comfortable beds/bedding and 2 full bathrooms. The house is located in a small quiet street and we all slept soundly at night and felt well rested. The host was quick to respond to any questions that may come up. Entry to the property upon arrival was easy with a electronic door code. The home is just 2 miles to the downtown shops & local restaurant choices ,……
